Its a very noble endeavour by the indian army. I would like a constant update on the progress of this institute. Keep up the good work. Regards Amit Taank
Its really great to see the Army taking initiative in this regard. I just hope that in the next Olympics will one among the top 15. I do expect a lot from the Army. It will be all the more better if the Indian Olympic Association and its representatives are taken over by the Army. No one wants to see politicians involved in anything constructive.
India has been waiting for a miracle, not a miracle winner of a bronze medal to satisfy a billion population, but a miracle system change. Just the way people disgusted with politics hoped for Supreme Court to intervene and now ultimately have been satisfied by the Media which strips politicians stark naked in the public, the Army is, and can only be, the answer for reckless handling of sports affairs by the IOA. A wish on every Indian's mind is that there are youngsters all over India who can excel in sports, but get no opportunities.
Its great to hear that the Army aims of 2008 Olympics. Already, today, an armyman has won a silver medal for us at Athens. I have no doubt that India will win many individual golds in 2008 with the Army Operation. Moreover, India has the ability to be the top 3 in the Asian Games stage too. All the best.
At last there is somebody who understands the value of sports. If it is taken as seriously as a military operation then I hope the forth coming Olympics and International events will be ours.
We have to do it with "Come on we can and we have do it " spirit.
Dear Mr. Faisal, Could you please give me some contact address/e-mail in of the person in-charge of the Army Sports Institute? Jethani Haresh from Ulhasnagar Disti Thana.
I have started visualising india in the medals table in the 2008 olympics. Wow the thought makes me fly. Think of the national anthem being played a number of times in china. I would give anything to see it. Let's hope our visios become reality.
This sports academy introduced by the Army is really, really worth appreciating. If the Army can kick out the IOA, then it will be that much more satisfying. Kudos to the guys behind it.
Hats off to the army once again. If any institution in india can get it an olympic medal, its the army. If we apply the same selfless and self motivated approach to sports as the army applies in protecting the borders, there's no way india cannot win olympic medals. Its the planning and corruptionless approach of the army which can raise india on the international sports front.
