AMRITSAR TRAGEDY
by MMB on Oct 21, 2018 06:59 PM

Raised track or same level track, are people so muck careless that they are playing with their life? More careless on the part of Mrs Navajotsing Siddu to have agreed to be guest of Honour for the function, which is being held very near to the railway Track. The organisers of the Ravan Wadh event should take full responsibilities not any one else. Contact Rahulji,or Kejriwalji they will not comment because it's Congress Government at Punjab.Had it been BJP Govt they would have demanded MODIJI's resignation, like some one has demanded PIYUSH GOELJI's.
As a member of Public I feel people should be careful in each and everything, in thier daily life, for life lost cannot be restored.
I am with the people and families who lost their near and dears.
Railways should compensate the families to the best possible extent, for life lost is lost and cannot be brought back.
Railways can pay back from Insurance available for public safty, on tracks, on trains and in the Railway network.

Train tragedy
by Dhruba Sarma on Oct 21, 2018 06:56 PM

Even a child knows that a after people on the train come into view the driver cannot stop a train within a safe distance . Nobody seem to question the civil administration for not allowing the gathering so close , or have a proper police bandobast for people to stay away from the tracks . The babu always seem to get away from it all . Hence the misery of India.

Wonderful article of freedom of speech. Anyone can write anything and start blaming everything to keep my point of view as correct. Its a fundamental error of our civilized people getting into the railway track for getting some better view. Expecting train horn in a highly noise place. Writers like Shobha finding no issues/errors and blaming Railway, Railway ministry and PM.

This is what we are going to teach our kids too and make sure our country stays as third world.

Hum Nahin Sudherenge

What absurd demands? Raise the track. Barricade all tracks. Slow the trains to make all trespassers safe. Keep blowing horns. Have more powerful headlights. Consequences are : No railway traffic for next 2 decades to raise all tracks and barricade them, and of course the huge bill for the railways for taxpayers to suffer. Then trains running late to accommodate religious festivals marriages etc etc. Then taking off all locomotives to fix new circuitry for more powerful headlights. The smallest problem would be hearing train horns each second of the day 24X7.
But as far as the population goes ... Hum Nahin Sudherenge.

The article is in poor light. The people are too careless for their lives. I have seen scores of people cross the tracks when the cross barriers are down at manned crossings. It is fun for them to cross the tracks when the train is approaching. People should take it seriously that they should care for their lives and it is not others who are responsible for their well being.

It appears Rediff news is highly biased and publishes those Articles to protect real culprit. All its authors(see yesterday's news) does NOT blame the organizers who undertook this, the local administration or police who were sleeping. And now this genius has invented WHY the rail tracks are not raised.Bah!Bah!

It is funny to note the article too biased. The author should note that the railways did not invite the people to come onto its railway tracks to be mowed down. It is always risky to come on to the railway track. The biased report has simply been made to protect the organizers.
