There is something called time value of money and these are factored into a contract. If you apply these clauses built into UPA contract, the new price is less than old UPA price. Further UPA is like a customer coming into the shop and asking for prices with no intention of buying, but looking for opportunities for shop lifting. UPA's purchase was not consummated and so it can't be compared with a real purchase. UPA had a letter of intent and was trying for opportunities for kickbacks. They had no intentions of national security in mind.

when a mobile is launched it has highest price but within a year the prices comes to half, every technology item reduces to half within a few years while the cost of rafale has gone up so high, there cannot be confidentiality about weaponry in today's world where US, UK, Russia, Japan and China have every knowledge about who owns what, instead they themselves announce over all the world what they have.

so do not know what is marketing , mobile or consumer elecronic item will be charged high cost offet the design cost and advertisement cost then price reduced to cost of manufacturing only . it is not consumer electronic goods Steel Iron equipment cost increase with time. Take scooter cost 35000 ten abck now 55000 why?
