PSU money is also govt money. What difference does it make either PSU spends or municipality ?
I bet the money spent on statues and other govt. publicity PR activities thru different print,TV media etc. during last 4 yrs must be hundreds or thousands of times money spent during last 70 yrs.Although Modiji never ever talks to journos or addresses press himself but his penchant to use the media to project himself and the insatiable appetite for addressing masses at earliest available opportunity is something never seen before.Even Gandiji must have made public addressed of people much less during the entire freedom movement.
first study the history book of govt. school class one to class ten from the year 1950 t0 2018 and see how much said about patel .then get that is enough for patel of his role for the formation of new India ? the statue of patel is not a ghotala or corruption so why ? for only vote for 2019
Reports are coming that as a tourist spot lots of locals are getting employment and economy of the region will improve... Certain mega projects are done in all parts of the world to show case country’s potentials

* Tajmahal is biggest attraction of India, its revenue generation is just 25 crore per year. Even with this pace, it will take 120 years to recover the money expend in statue, keeping maintenance cost zero. * Before this, world tallest statue was of Buddha in Chine but it was not even in the list of top 10 revenue generator of Chine tourism. * Its location is 4hrs away from Ahmadabad which will hardly intend people to visit there just to see the statue.
