HIS INSATIABLE APPETITE FOR ADDRESSING MASSES UNMATCHED
by damodaran mohan on Nov 08, 2018 05:49 PM

I bet the money spent on statues and other govt. publicity PR activities thru different print,TV media etc. during last 4 yrs must be hundreds or thousands of times money spent during last 70 yrs.Although Modiji never ever talks to journos or addresses press himself but his penchant to use the media to project himself and the insatiable appetite for addressing masses at earliest available opportunity is something never seen before.Even Gandiji must have made public addressed of people much less during the entire freedom movement.

* Tajmahal is biggest attraction of India, its revenue generation is just 25 crore per year. Even with this pace, it will take 120 years to recover the money expend in statue, keeping maintenance cost zero.
* Before this, world tallest statue was of Buddha in Chine but it was not even in the list of top 10 revenue generator of Chine tourism.
* Its location is 4hrs away from Ahmadabad which will hardly intend people to visit there just to see the statue.

Reason of price surge
by Samir Kamal on Nov 08, 2018 03:56 PM

Now I understand the reason of price hike.

For their own mileage, they (BJP) use all kind of method to put burden on general people.
