JD(S) and congress
by Geetha RM on May 17, 2018 11:06 AM  | Hide replies

What hurt Congress was Is Siddaramiah's personal equations with Deve Gowda. His performance as CM was quite good. If there is re-election and Congress and JD(S) get together before the elections BJP will be nowhere. There was no Modi wave but only a revolt by vokkaliga's against CM.

Maybe, but that will be the beginning of the end of either the Congress or the JDS, because BJP will become the sole opposition in the state. Eventually either Congress or JDS will be erased from the state. What is the point of having 2 parties if they are always allied? Such a development will be very good for the BJP over the long term.

The Congress, erstwhile masters
by piri on May 17, 2018 07:31 AM

of black money funded election campaigns and electoral manoeuvres, is now so hopelessly outclassed in their own game by Amit Shah !

The Congress is no match now for the black money power of Amit Shah !

So much is evident from the series of scams that have tumbled out with incriminating evidence against the BJP govt in the last few years !

And bhakts, who used to keep talking about the 2G scam and the Coal scam (they are very silent about them now, wonder why), now praise Amit Shah for being a *Chanakya* when his govt steals lakhs of crores of rupees from the exchequer through its crony capitalists in the name of development !

Strange loophole in Constitution of India
by Sandeep Singh on May 16, 2018 07:30 PM

It is the selfishness of all stakeholders of government formation in India that they did not and will not clearly define in Constitution the course to be taken by governors/president in case of such a fractured mandate in election!!!
