Colors of vibgyor
by Pinaki Pandit on May 03, 2018 02:02 PM

InPak I guess they find people who would like to color saints like Baba Bulleh Shah green or black or I don’t know what. In India some’ll like to color orange, blue or green or I don’t know how many more colors they can invent. If they can manage to color their Gurus, I guess everything else is small matter.
If partition is a problem then we should be in a preparedness to do away with it. And in that case will we not have respect for all personalities on the freedom movement? I think the problem is not in the personalities but us.

The photo of Gandhi and Jinnah itself is an insult as Jinnah is having a cigarette in his hand showing disrespect to Gandhi...
God only knows if Liquor and women were waiting inside the house..

AMU is a university funded by the Secular Govt of India...The country has been partitioned and Jinnah chose to be with Pakistan which treats India as an enemy country..So where is the place for Jinnah in a Govt instituion?

If Jinnah has to be in AMU, so can Hitler, Stalin etc in all Govt institution...

India was built (more) by British. Since they left India could we destroy all the monuments they left?
Enemy nation: Created by politicians but mostly not by the people of either country.

Many are forgetting why Jinnah created Pakistan and for whom. These so called secular people should pay respect to Jinnah and gracefully leave India. A whole new country is created for them.no will hurt their feelings there by saying minority.

They are carrying the tradition, which has been set so far.
What is ego, hitch or difficulty in just removing the photo of Jinnah by the authorities themselves.
Why muslims are not in the main stream of the country, when congress pampered them always.
Why they hate BJP which is elected as per democratic norm,
Get the answers yourself, you will find the solution of all above.

Society is already partitioned by congress in last 70 years, muslims are still not in the main stream of Secular India. Why muslims should have a feeling of hate for BJP or RSS, whereas country is secular, all parties are recongnised and follow democratic rules.

Transfer it to museum
by girish on May 03, 2018 11:39 AM

I won't mind putting Jinnah's portrait in a historical museum along side article and information about his deeds and misdeeds during the freedom struggle and subsequent partition of India. However I fail to understand how come a leading educational institute displays his portrait in their college campus as if he is some idol to be followed by students. This is highly objectionable. The management should have transferred it to some museum displaying history of India long back.
