Question is not whether he is a Hindu or a Muslim. Why the photo of founder father of Pakistan hanging in an Indian University ? Even if it is a Muslim University it is not justified to keep the photo of a person whom we all hate.

Why correction has not been taken by AMU authorities so far, calling it politics of BJP is anti national activity, as it pertains to a fellow who divided the whole country into two nation.

IN THE CHANGED CONTEXT BETTER AMU ITSELF SAYS BYE TO JINNAH
by damodaran mohan on May 04, 2018 12:47 PM

Surprising very few know or even aware about presence of Jinnah's portrait in AMU!Given the historical context it is natural for AMU to have his picture in AMU but after partition, its aftermath, Jinnah's role in it etc...the context certainly changes.MG virtually paid for his life fighting for Pak's confronting the Indian Govt. and people but will any institution in Pak will ever adorn his picture? No.In fact MG is the most hated figure in Pak as jinnah is in India. Thus Jinnah's portrait in AMU is bound to create controversy and give BJP a convenient handle to polarize for votes during elections. However any politics or violence on the issue is not right but given this changed context I would rather advise AMU themselves to remove the portrait once and for all.Why should an Indian University adorn Jinnajh'portrait ? What purpose it is serving ? AMU better remove it.
