This info like social security details are available to all and what is so confidential about it. Even banks have our KYC. Mountain out of a mole hill. Bull shit to get some publicity
It is nothing but a way to come in limelight. Instead of saying on security I want to say that my date of birth, my phone number, my address etc. are not confidential things. They are already public documents. The question important is whether any can abuse my aadhar card by this information? I am sure No.

Boss, check with any more developed country and see if these details are actually public. Your date of birth and phone number are NOT public information, for God's sake. And government databases should NOT be accessible to anyone. This is fundamental and basic privacy. I wonder why it is so difficult to understand.
If someone is bribing Officials and getting their IDs and Passwords to get UIDAI details, then how the Govt is responsible? We have to caught those persons and Officials and sent to Jail. This must be our responsibility, don\\\'t blame Govt. The Govt is using UIDAi details to control all types crimes and Curruption, but due to some people and News channels (their agenda is to destabilize Govt) we are always blaming the Govt.
These journalists think it is their divine right to create scandals out of nowhere and cause mistrust among citizens towards their governments.
They are after Aadhar for reasons unknown.
May be , just like Radia tapes, these journalists are sold out.
The government wants every financial aspect of the citizens - the bank accounts, transactions, properties, social schemes are all linked to Aadhar card.
Now, there are many disgruntled people who do not want to link Aadhar card to their properties. Because once you link, it will be known go the government that even your cat has a property in your family.
This is all a high level conspiracy between black money , benami property hoarders and the media.
it just had my address, mob no. and date of birth.
what good is it ? Just go to telephone directory, you will get millions of phone nos and names.
Aadhaar is for the govt to maintain records, why such hue and cry about security.
this journalist and media are talking bullshit, with aaddhaar info nobody can hack my bank account or steal even a single rupee or murder me .... what a dumb nation we are becoming.
aadhaar is not even as expensive as a passport.
even GST no. if you enter on govt website, it give full details of the company holding the GST, is this a data breach ... come on.
