And the media houses which created rumor mongering environment and attempt to undermine public trust in elected government ( tantamount to working against the state ).
-what will they do with your name, address, phone number ? Sell your property to some one ?
- Unless you are miserable dumb sh^t, all your details are available on every document you ever got
- The passport database - The ration card database - The credit card database - The road transport dept database - The voter list - The banks where you have your accounts. - Your PAN cards ( even worse, is linked to all your bank accounts and assets).
WHo knows who are all have access to this information. Just because it is not known does not mean it is not hacked.
The fact of the matter is, certain groups are hell bent on SCANDALIZING The government on one aspect or the other.

What you said may be correct. But for all the people it will not. Recently you may have heard that M.S.Dhoni aadhar known to public by publishing some pictures. This way some of the important people may be hacked. Not the common man or any dumb person. All of them don't understand the importance of the Aadhar. i.e. they are talking dumb. If hacker knows your date of birth he can hack into your email accounts and there he can do any thing. Other country people are fighting hard for their privacy and the details and we don't care what happening. Mr. Snowden today reacted on this and told how pathetic.
This journalist when she came to know about this why she did not inform the higher authorities of UDAI. This scheme was launched when UPA was in power at that no secular other wise patriotic journalist opened their mouth or pen now this NDA government in only asking people to link the ADHAR if they want to avail the govt facilities now all PSEUO sicular journalist abetted aided by political huew are crying hoarse what a paradox.
When coming to shooting the messenger this Government is ranked Numero Uno in the world. No wonder this has happened. When some ignorant people are telling this is no big deal the linking of mobile, bank details are they not serious enough. Support efficiency not complacency.
WHATS WRONG IF KNOWLEDGE IS AVAIABLE AND WHAT IS ALL FUSS.CITIZEN OF INDIA MUST COME CLEAN AND CLEAR THROUGH AADHAAR. SOME JOURNALIST SOME CHANNELS ARE MAKING ISSUES WHY
Not just the journalist who created this panic like environment and tried to create unnecessary scam, but the media portals which supported these rumors should also be prosecuted.
Don't the state authorities have your name , your father name, phone number and address on ration card ? Isn't ration card database online and hackable ?
The moment you buy a smart phone and use it , all your details are available for hacking.
The issue here is neither of privacy nor security.
THIS IS PURELY SCANDALIZING GOVERNMENT ON ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.
- FIRST ALL THESE TRASHY LIBERALISTS RAISED RED FLAG WHEN AADHAR WAS MADE MANADATORY. THEY WERE RESOUNDINGLY DEFETAED.
- THEN THERE IS THIS PRIVACY LITIGATION IN THE SUPREMENT COURT. AGAIN THESE PEOPLE WERE DEFEATED. WHILE THE HONBLE. COURT MAINTAINED STRESSED THE NEED FOR RESPECTING INDIVIDUAL PRIVACY, NEVER DID THE COURT SAID AADHAR BREACHES PRIVACY.
- THEN THE SAME GANG WAS AGAINST LINKING AADHAR TO SOCIAL SCHEMES AND WENT ABOUT PROPAGANDA OF PUBLISHING CASES WHERE RATIONS WERE NOT GIVEN FOR WANT OF AADHAR LINK. DEFEATED AGAIN.
- THIS IS THE FOURTH ATTEMPT.
IT LOOKS LIKE AN ORCHESTRATED ATTEMPT TO MALIGN AND DRAG THE GOVET INTO MUD RATHER THAN ANY THING TO DO WITH PUBLIC INTEREST.

auryas very well written, agree cent percent. there are these sickular journos and then there is our rediff which publishes only such stuff anti gov anti modi JAI HIND
What data does this UIDAI contain which is not known to the public? If the details like who is my mom and dad is known to public what is wrong with it? And my address and telephone number has always been there in the telephone directory. What remains is my biometrics. Where am I using my biometrics as the password? I don't see it as a threat at all. Am I missing something? Can anyone clarify?

You will cry and curse yourself for being on Adhaar, If someone uses your adhaar for illegal bank transactions, buys phone or internet connection on the basis of your identity for cyber crimes, believe me dear you will not be wanting yourself to dragged into this abyss. you will be the first to get convicted for crimes which you did not. So Think again.
This brilliant reporter should be slapped with sedition charge (nothing less) for her major discovery. Her family should be pursued by CBI, ID etc. Her supporters should be hounded by trolls. After all citizens of this country should fear might of the state! Sare jahan se achha - - Jaihind.
