by Abhishek Shridhar Mishra on Apr 21, 2018 02:44 PM  | Hide replies

The CJI has taken tough decisions that may not please some politicians/babus
a)Despite all the pressure he did not let Justice Loya's death get attain a political colour. It was a natural death which the congress wanted to politicize.
b)He ordered benami property attachment- corrupt politicians are affected by this order.
c)He ordered attachment of Dawood's property- this was a daring move.
d) Such dynamic and truthful people are a threat to the corrupt political class. henc ethe impeachment route.

quid pro quo appointment system
by R ponnabalam on Apr 21, 2018 11:03 AM

If one who has a case of false affidavit hanging about him is appointed Judge by our system with a collegium ,Council of Ministers and what not, is not the ordinary man right in thinking that all our system has quid pro quo in it's acts and deals and this is a case where quid pro quo has failed those who made that appointment .To every accused his case is sensitive.?When we repeatedly hear right from the beginning sensitive cases, should we read it as gulit- cases getting perturbed and seek escape ways as it is accustomed to R.Ponnambalam
