Farce and tragedy
by palanki narayana on Apr 20, 2018 05:04 PM  | Hide replies

Likely scenario: Rajya Sabha Chairman refuses to accept the motion. The opposition moves the court. The CJI assigns the matter to a bench presided by himself. Farce and tragedy ensue.

The opposition does not have the numbers. The impeachment proposal is more in the nature of a token protest, not unknown in democratic countries.

Dear rediff, I have been following your website for last 15 yeas(may be more), but I am today deely saddened and agasht with your journalism choice. Why do you interview people who are only against the institutions and their motives are against the nation. Over the period of time, I have realised that your journalism is subordinated to the likes of NDTV. Kindly have a relook of your thoughts and priorities.

IT looks how the leader of opposition is mature.
We don't have choice and forced to give same verdict of 2014 in election

It is in his DNA!
by ashwani sharma on Apr 20, 2018 04:48 PM  | Hide replies

It is in his DNA! Remember Rahul Gandhi's grand mother made Justice A N Ray CJI and number of senior judges including Justice HR Khanna resigned.

Today her grandson is initiating another blow to top judiciary by bringing IM.

In order to save Congress from family despotism first thing they should do is to IMPEACH this leader called Rahul Gandhi who besides being from khaandan has no other qualities to lead this one hundred plus year old party....

Am sure if Congress fails at least Indians will understand this devious attempt and save the country in 2019...

You still can do som eservice to the nation by bringing Tytler & Sajjan Kumar to book and Give Justice to our Sikh brethren & sisters for 1984 Anti Sikh Riots engineered by your own Congress party...
It is shocking Kapil Sibal that you are the author of this IM...
