Is it enough?

When Jayalalithaa offered a scheme to train dalits as temple priests, the intended beneficiaries politely refused, saying they would welcome training for the IAS examinations.

Very often we seen histoy being distorted to suit the ideology of certain political ideologies which has become obsolete in the rest of the world.
The appontment of first non-Brahmin tantri in Kerala was applauded by RSS.
Please google - First ever non-Brahmin Thanthri apponited for Dewaswom Board temples in Kerala

Infact when this non- Brahmin Tantri - Parur Rakesh was appointed, it was opposed by the local "çomrades'.
It was the local RSS folks who gave Rakesh all the support he needed

Dont bluff !

The Travancore Devaswom board is a Kerala govt run institution. The tantris and all other employees at the temples are appointed by this board.

And the RSS has never come within even sniffing distance of occupying a slot in any of the 4 Devaswom boards in Kerala !

Do you think everyone on this board is as much of an ignoramus as you are ?

Truth might hurt.
But the fact is the appointment of Parur Rakesh was opposed by the local "comrades".They even tried to physically stop him entering the temple.
The local RSS people supported Rakesh.

Rakesh was first appointed as a "shanti" [ priest] in Neerikode Shiva-kshetram. Infact he was the first non-Brahmin priest to be apponted by Travancore Devaswom Board in early 1990s..
At that time the local"comrades"were opposed to his appointment. They went to court.
The local RSS folks were the people in the forefront to support Rakesh.
Later on Rakesh resigned from this post.
Couple of years back he was appointed as the 'tantri'.
