Since Uri attack by militants supported by Pakistan, Our leaders are looking for various options available with our country. The first one was retaliation- though our country overpower military of Pakistan, still we are defensive- the reason behind what many analysts feel is because of outdated military mechanism and ammunition. If we go with war against Pakistan, with the ammunition available we could not fight for many days. And even if we are prepared to buy ammunition or vehicles from the suppliers, it will take minimum of 2 to 3 years for getting them. Though our military's spirits are high, the Govt.cannot risk with manpower. Point no two is Bi-lateral discussions: It is always proved to be a utter failure, as Pakistan is not an intelligent nation which can understand the values of humanity, instead it had declared a proxy war against our country long back. So, this too is not possible. 3. ISOLATION: this is really a tough job for our country. Because, like earlier US & USSR had played the war game by splitting the world into NATO & WARSAW, and now the same role is taken by one of our mighty CHINA, which is a close associate of Pakistan. Fact is that today India itself is in isolated state because of our earlier governments policies. Now the only option left was scrapping Indus Water Treaty, which is impossible because of dire consequences thereafter. Indian govt has no preparation of war. First all diplomats should be called back from pakistan then all pakistani diplomats should be asked to leave then all artists from pakistan should be asked to go back and then stop all business with pak, stop samjauta express and bus to pakistan....then...prepare for war and then hit them hard with full force. Hoe govt this time comes up with some action as there was only free of cost lip service in the past.
Do not agree with the writer, high time to review the water supply to PAK in relation to our needs. Today we are 130 crores, such treaties otherwise must reviewed after each 10 years.
