If canals need to be dug out, they will be done eventually to divert water. Water is always a precious resource. The need of the hour is to nail Pakistan..
If it's taken it would be a political decision, the professor need NOT worry about it..

Exactly, well said. Let the govt of the day decide the pros & cons of stopping water to Pakistan. Many states of India have got deficient rainfall over the last one decade, so I am very doubtful how much water all the 6 rivers totally contribute that he is saying it will flood J&K.
