Sanjay Dutt was punished for keeping an arm with him in a prohibited area. Where as Bal Thakery who found to involved in mass murder by Srikrishna Commission has allowed to a peaceful old age death. where are these activist? Moreover, Dutt's tenure of jail term as per law and rules of imprisonment not anyone's fancy.
Even after convicted, a big question arises; why was Sanjay Dutt, sent to jail, when most of the time, from one pretext or other, he was out on parole. If he has been pardoned by the Govt. for good behaviour than, as Mr Pradeep Bhalekar rightly mentioned, the Govt should also be lenient towards those 27000 prisoners. If Mr Dutt is getting the benefit, others should also get. Now is the time for the Govt to prove, everybody is equal in the eyes of Law.

We have destroyed this country by going for VIP culture,See Sharukh and Aamir.In any other country they would have been behind bars.

sure...in fact iam wondering why are they still roaming free even after taking over by modiji who use to claim that they destroy/looted our country. its been almost 2 years now
Why he is in jail, he is not a professional criminal, our laws need correction and reforms, why not put heavy penalty on such people who can pay and can contribute to govt. facilities. Our jails are full of fake criminals, 10% childen shown as above 18, about 15% oldis covered under Dowry Act, and many other unwanted people. Who will take such correction and when, we do not know, whereas many politicians, industrialists who have looted this country are roaming freely.

Shame on your comments.If a person keeping AK47,s can not be punished and then destroying it can not be jailed who will be jailed.He is enjoying facilities wihich a person with offence committed by him should not enjoy.
When was Sanjay Dutt jailed ?How many days and weeks was he inside the jail?It is a big joke that he is being released early,as if he was in jail for years tomb ether.As the saying goes all are equal,but some are more equal ,is right in this case..,especially celebrities come under this category.
No doubt Sanjay dutt is a nice man as well as good actor so on account of good behaviour so he should be released Mr bhalekar should do some good work rather than filing petitions for this issue
