In such a glut year, Deepa has made our feel proud. Now its our duty that with proper traing she competes at International level and brings laurels to the country in future. Make a system, where we Indians living in and outside the country can contribute for her training and betterment. With a proper system, grants will pour in from public. PLEASE DO IT, I WILL CONTRIBUTE MYSELF AND MAKE OTHERS DO SO. Do not wait for the government to respond. Donate directly to her

Dear Daymanti, a good article. Technically Govt will not be able to do in large scale. But what it can do is make medium and large corporates take up one sport one state [ ex say Tripura and say gymnastics ] and create all facilities. They can be official sponsorer of that athelete who participates
There are a number of PSUs in the Oil Sector and other Indian corporates who should sponsor Dipa and give her gainful employment and world class facilities so that she can aim and get the coveted Gold at Tokyo. She has already made history even without winning a medal and may her story inspire other women athletes to enter the arena of gymnastics and do the country proud. Time we rethink our sports policy and bring world class facilities to the table to churn out super athletes. I salute the spirit and the stuff of which she is made. There is fire in the belly of these small town athletes. May their tribe increase.
Being an Indian I salute you for your achievement in Olympic. I want to request sport minister to help & sponsor our all the sportsmen & women of our nation of less reputed event.
