Not only dumped PVNR, but the Sonia brigade saw to it that PVNR does not even get a resting place in Delhi. They pushed him to Hyderabad.

Rama Ganesh
Congress's best PM out in the cold
by Rama Ganesh on Jun 21, 2016 02:04 PM

Narasimha Rao was possibly the best PM Congress gave to India, Nehru included. If Nehru and later, Indira's, socialistic approach ruined this country and restricted its potential, it was PMN who unshackled this country from the clutches these leaders had bound India with. It's a pity that he didn't get his due, most obviously because he did not belong to the Gandhi family. People blame him for inaction during the Babri Masjit episode, little realizing that it was this masterstroke that helped him check mate BJP and gave him an excuse to dismiss all its state governments, rightly or wrongly. PNM will go down the history as one of India's best Prime Ministers, and an odd-man out of a series of incompetent leaders Congress had saddled this country with.

India Gandhi

Indira Gandhi could have done much earlier what PVNR did in 1991 if not Nehru. India could have been a different country.

PVNR and the Congress
by Md Zahiruddin on Jun 21, 2016 01:48 PM  | Hide replies

Behind PVNR's economic steps(right or wrong) was MMS and Soniaji sacrificed the post of PM for MMS.
PVNR remained in exile by himself because he knew he had completed his job as per his plan and put the wheel rolling.

Do you know the basic requirements to become PM of India? Then how can you say Soniaji sacrificed the post of PM. As I know One person qualifies for becoming PM of India and President of India, if he or she is born in India.

FULSOME
by PK Sagar on Jun 21, 2016 12:54 PM

Yes I find Jairam's praise of PVN very insincere. We all know how he turned the Indian economy around but the way he was treated by the GREAT PRESIDENT of INC is disgusting, for whom Jairam serves with unquestioned loyalty, despite his intellectual ability. Does anyone in congress have a spine.

By hook or crook some people want to prop up Congress...They tried propping up Rahul...but he has abandoned India and is running away on holiday every now and then...Another attempt to prop up Congress thru Rao...may be until Priyanka is willing to be propped up...Good luck...
