Wars were fought throughout the world throughout times. but there was a difference between indian wars and other country wars till the muslims invaded india. wars were decided between two kings who gathered at a particular place and particular time. night time wars were avoided. the people had no role in the war. so after the war ended the king changed or remained. what was khandahar? it was gandhara. and in the mahabharatha gandhari who was duryodhana's mother came from gandhara. and whom did she pray to get 100 children? lord siva. knowing that she had this boon from siva , bheeshma sought her for dritharashtra. so the guy who wrote this article does not know his own country's history .what does he know . just call india bad and hindus bad and make money through donations.

Sir, you are tooooo intelligent. You have projected as if H1ndu kings never fought wars among themselves, but conducted cricket tournaments :-) By the way, matches couldn't be played in the night time those days, since there were no flood lights :-)

You have written what was the norm during olden days. How can you expect people to fight in the darkness? Also, this rules thing that you have mentioned, all kings irrespective of re1igion followed some unwritten rules. Nothing new in what you have said. However, never try to add masaa1a similar to what is shown in TV soaps and movies. Wars have been bruta1 and the punishments meted out to the 1oser kings and their families have been even more bruta1. For example, since BahadurShahZafar lead the first war of independence, after he was captured by the British, he was presented with the severed heads of all his sons by the British, before he was sent to Burma jail, at an age of 90 years. That's how wars were in the past, without any exceptions. They were no cricket matches.

Hindu rulers you gave examples are from medieval ages but are you are using it to say Hind@s are intolerant? What rubbish? Hind@s are not in power for about 1000 years and has suffered genocides during these years. Had they been intolerant the demographics would have been different. In fact Hind@s have tolerated irrespective of the gencoide perpetrated by invaders in India which is not the case for other geographies.

Why were H1ndus not in power? There were so many H1ndu kingdoms over the past 1000 years, even until the late nineteenth century. Do you really understand what you are writing? BahadurShahZafar had led a group of many kingdoms, including H1ndu kingdoms, in the first war of independence against the British.
