IAS is the force which has kept India united, of course, correction is required for non performers, unfit and suspected corrupts which must be retired early for efficiency, accountability etc.,etc.,
why IAS; he needs to remove this Patwai (or Lekhpal)/Pradhan/Police combo who are crushing out all development in the county side; and YES IAS need to be removed with specialised persons with more and better work related experience
We must adopt a new policy for Govt employment . No need for IAS fellows. Whenever any vacancy arises, atleast 50 % chancesmust be given to public , at any age , for Govt jobs, Govt industries etc . This will surely increase the efficiency ,bring new ideas , rfeduce corruption . Lot of well experienced persons can be found working in
Yes the only way Modi can create a new India is by scrapping the IAS. Mr. M V Kurien the founder of Amul had always reminded the then Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shashtri of the nuisance value of the IAS. Kurien started work on the Amul project only after he got a categorical assurance from the Pm that no IAS officer would ever interfere. The Konkan Railway and the Delhi Metro are examples of projects which got completed on time mainly because the IAS was not allowed entry. All politicians benefit from the corrupt IAS so they will never scrap the IAS. Not only is Mo0di's car bad his drivers are looking all the time into the rear view mirror hoping to get ahead. Along with the IAS the IPS needs to be scrapped. The IPS is responsible for all the crime in the country. Ladies are not safe. The chain snatchers are trained by the police. Then there is the judiciary that needs to be overhauled. It is such a pain to call a judge "Your Honour" when we know the judge is a scoundrel. It is reported that 60% of the inmates in Indian jails are innocent and honest and they have been framed to protect the real criminals. This done through "professional fake witnesses" and it is further reported that there are more than 30,000 "professional fake witnesses" in India who are ready to "cook up" evidence for a "professional fee". There is a big mafia consisting of judges, police, criminals and fake witnesses who condemn innocent people and this

A house for everyone by 2022, with 24-hour power, clean drinking water, a road and modern sanitation; one job per family, medical and skilling facilities close by, and much else of that nature. Yes, it is possible, but only if he change his thinking & Functioning to communism.
While I donot share the bitterness of the author,of IAS cadre, for most part the author is correct.Even though IAS selects some of the best minds, time has shown that these IAS guys very very quickly barring very few compramise their values to start dancing to the corrupt political system.Few stand up against the system are transferred to insignificant posts, maklng them incapable to deliver to the civil society.Hence with IAS cadre nation looses any way.
