I have seen in past every Monday medical center where i was working, remaining close due to electric power staggering in Gujarat prior to 2001. And after 2003 no failure or staggering after Modi's plan could be implemented. AAP is working like Robinhood to give free here and there and lured voters. of course 15-20 % congress committed voters have voted for AAP and some 5 % always want to winning party bases on opinion poll. Imagine Modi also start giving all free electricity in up coming Bihar, UP, Bengal and all of India, all will ask from where money will come. Here in Delhi, Somanath Bharti was saying on news channel after victory MOney will come from center. AAP has to provide 24 x 7 electricity and than think about free electricity If they can do it? Already Kejriwal has made U turn of getting De CM so that he can go out of Delhi. Indirect way of resignation from responsibility.

Election is over, and u still cant stop lying? When did AAP say it would give "free" electricity? it said it would stop the loot by the elec distbn companies. Is that so difficult to understand? Well one can wake up a person who is sleeping, but not someone who feigns sleep.

I am talking about 24 x 7 electricity. Subsidy is 1600 Cr Rs which AAP has promised. From where this subsidy will come ? AAP should say Kejriwal is CM for 5 years and No DEP CM. AAP should say we will give 24 x 7 electricity and than talk about subsidy

AK, look at the tweet by Yogendra Yadav of AAP. He tweeted that there will not be free water & electricity for ever , it is for short period.

You are right. The AAP is robbing Peter and paying Paul. They are not trying to increase the size of the pie.

All Delhi voters must realise one thing. Kejriwal is a career politician. He is driven by ambition and urge for achievement. But not service as an ambition and acheivement. This is evident and simple proof is that waht AAP manifesto says is like AIADMK or DMK Or YSRCP actions that is 1 rupee a KG rice, subsidized power, free education so on and so forth. But look at Modi Ji. His Vision is Let Every MP and MLA adopt one village every one or two years. Then He wants to build 20 trillion dollar economy. The way he ensured almost 100% financial inclusion. Let any AAP bhakth say be it poor or educated or experetm or journalist kind of AAP bhakth that AAP has such modern and out of the box approach which is different from run of the mill manifestos of times bygone and that belong to Aloos, DMKs etc.
soon it will be a nice time to attack india when AK67 wins 540 seats in delhi and all army will have zadus instead of guns and then real fun will come....many indians seen at chinese and pakistan border with zadus. Chinese and pakistan worried new indian game by government servant. the old servant dawood is now in pakistan and he was was a maharashtrian policeman and now from delhi comes a zaduwala. what are the indians doing ruling the delhi assembly with zadus ..are they in right monds and now entire border they are not using guns to fight us. soon india attacked and now kejriwal given brand new AK67 insteead and all party workers have AK67
AAP has come on promises of freebies subsidies. Which is not good for future.Just read total expenditure is 1600 Crore rs per year for subsidy for electricity. And what about other freebies. Will AAP collect funds for that from public or tax general public. Is it right to give subsidy to some and tax others. There are talking transparency let then tell us from where they will get such money. Or CM will sit on dharna and blame center. Transparecny is what they talk than let them tell from where they will get money.

Initial subsidy is mentioned in AAP manifesto. However, it further states that the subsidy would not go towards the defaulting discoms, but the Delhi Transco, the state owned transmission company which has unpaid bills of Rs3500 Cr. This money will help Delhi Transco to upgrade and augment it's transmission capacity, which is in a bad state. So, I don't think that the manifesto talks about freebies, but rather investment towards upgrade.

You are right in stating that these types of subsidies conceived by the AAP will create more uneducated, poor and powerless people, and nothing else.
Ashutosh is right. There will be strong opposition in the most disguised and subtle manner for all the attempts towards cleansing the existing practices. There are many honest bureaucrats who have been sidelined. AAP Govt. must find such gentlemen/women if they are to be on top. People should also understand and appreciate that AAP Govt. does not have a magic wand. At the same time AAP has to quickly deliver power and water as per their manifesto. Easy visibility that could satisfy the Delhites that something is coming up is the CCTV at all important places. A balance between urgent visibility and long run factors is definitely not difficult to achieve. People are in a hurry to see results. Get along friends. Wish you the best. Middle Class has always been with you. We are ready to wait but not many others who are dyeing of cold or others who are suffering injustices. Our Best wishes.

middle class will pay for their foolishness . Historical middle class has paid for subsidy Now also they will pay.Why you and me pay for freebies to others.
"People are fed up with the corrupt establishment."=========>People should ask the question to themselves that how non corrupt they are. Then there will be new beginning.Otherwise such thousand AAP victories will never going to change their ill fate in general and of the society in whole.

You are right. General public demands non-corruption only from others. People do not want to disturb their own corruption. For example, shopkeepers don’t want to pay 500 Rupees to Police, but they expect Police to forgive them for their encroachments! Now, in Delhi, when Delhi police starts removing encroachments from street vendors as well as regular shopkeepers, then they will realize that paying 500 was probably easy to continue their life. We have such a huge population, where will all the Street shops go if there is no corruption and everyone has to follow rules?

people who oppose Modi's order to be at office at 10.a.m. and those who oppose the movement for civil cleanliness and therefore vote enbloc againt a party are absolutely corrupt.

Now AAP is very happy having decimated national parties like BJP and Congree. The promises they have made cannot be implemented without support from the Central government ,because Delhi is a state. In fact it is like a bigger municipal corporation. The CM designate cannot even open a school with out the permission from Lt Governor. This joy and celebration are short lived.Again he will go back to his old tactics like dharma, strike and shouting etc.I pity the people of Delhi having been duped by Kejhriwal.

Are you saying AAP will be harassed by BJP (Modi) in every stage? Are you trying to prove BJP is vindictive and corrupt?
Re: Re: In due course of time people will realise the mistake !
by Dada on Feb 12, 2015 10:52 PM
People of Delhi have trusted only AAP for their future. So, it is AAPs responsibility to make their life better; BJP will just sit back and let people enjoy the consequences of their actions! BJP had already told people that if they choose AAP, it will simply mean that next 5 years are lost! But, I am sure that AAP can reduce Tankers, Traffic, and reduce street level corruption, and they can indeed provide subsidy. But, beyond this, it is just in your imagination. People have to learn to live with the consequences of their actions and inactions. But, if people don’t learn, history will keep trying to teach them over and over again in very hard ways. At the end, it is up to the people when they want to grow up; this is the era of democracy and no one can force feed people anything.

There is no repentance in fighting for corruption, however long that fight may be.

right...Without support from BJP govt in center, AAP cannot do anything. THat means they cannot claim credit for everyting. As a wish any street walking person can list out the agenda- we want this , we want that.. But how to achieve that, whether it is possible finalcially and other resource availability is important.... For example- AAP says we will reduce electricity prices by half, we will do Audit of the electricity providing companies.. Here they assume that after Audit, they will find something drastic corruption/irregularities and they can reduce the prices...And what if they find everything ok and prices cannot be reduced? Then they will start bleming central govt and will ask for subsidies... same about Free WIFI, free water AAP keeps opposing corporates for everything..Who will give above facilities? Common man on the street?
So only fools can get waved by these NAxal anarchists and nothing else.

why stop that even he is also_hindu let missionaries stop conversion . Remember he got elected with majority votes
It is definitely tough road ahead for AAP. Every decision will have a negative impact on a section of society and those affected will fight back. As long as they have full transparency, and do not just do things for the sake of appeasement, they should do fine in the long run. And take small steps in the right direction. Take your time to settle down the dust of election and euphoria of win. Get the people who are negatively affected on board and make every step transparent. Leaders should stay simple and clean all the times.
