Yes..and hire American nannies/maids and pay them. Why have this Indian maid...is it a status symbol that she can hire a full time maid. The situation in America is very different from India
She should have proved her innocence, though US behaviour was arrogant. Because of her India is placed in an embarrassment for a petty matter. A Political leader with no sense stated that India should retaliate by sending back US Ambassador

She and her father are yet another undeserving people who have abused the benefits of reservation. she did not deserve the special favour in any case if she has property worth 10 crores. or did she amass that property thanks t her office? Many Inidan families work in the US and earn more. but they do not have maids. they do their own dishes, and laundry and even drop kids off to school while both parents are working. then why this special privilage? If the uS let her off, she should be tried in India.
As it is evident Preaat is going to issue interpole alert and she will be sent back as soon as she steps outside india in any country thyat is USA servant (most are).
Mr Srinivasan is wrong in his assessment of IBDA especially in the USA postings of our Diplomatic and Consular Corps.I feel in their future USA postings,Visa for Indian domestic servants would not be allowed and hence they would be asked to recruit from the local labor force resulting in the outgo of USD4500 and not USD500.

She is a diplomat and beautiful and looks like a heroine;but she is not brave, otherwise why should she run away. She should have fought staying in USA.

You seems to have a very good command of the language but appears to be lacking in senses and morality. You are shortsighted and have no faith in judiciary of a country. You are like any other high society Indian who do not consider that law is for rich as much as for poor. You adore her looks but do not evaluate her actions. Why she should prefer to leave her family than to face the charges if she is clean.

No heroine here...she broke the law..and submitted false documents. Why are we supporting her and not the maid? Does she not deserve support from us?
