Gandhi is a Mahatma. He is the father of our nation. He is honoured by printing his picture in our currency notes. There is no need to confer Bharat Ratna on such great soul. People born after 100 years of his birth do not know the sacrifice done by him to the nation. You don't confer Bharat Ratna, at least do not tarnish the image of Gandhi. people who do not know anything about freedom struggle are writing something against Gandhiji. He is an accepted leader of world communities. People are playing politics with Bharat Ratna. The present regime will not continue for ever. A day will come Modi and his saffron brigade will also be thrown away. Then eulogizing people like Malavya and Godse will come to an end.
For wht purpose to awarding Bharath Rathna to mr.Vajpayee..?..!..wht did for india ,,? any achievement..?..its just modi politics for uniting oldies avoiding to divide internal unity..!

the credibility of Bharatha rathna has lot when it was given to Mr.Tendulkar...who never played for the nationsake...for each and every run he made the money...Therefore i do not think Bharathna award has credibility....
Therefore Mahathma itself is much much bigger than Bharatha rathna...please do not make conterversy....

I beg to differ with you. Its credibility was lost the day it was awarded to Pt. Nehru.
For Mr. Gandhi, our independence was came late. Ultimately not his way independence came, came by the help of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.And we are sory to call him MAHATMA. Who has given this degree to him. Only Modi can run India smothly. In Assam he has take a good decission, where congress always playing with common people of Assam. Army can only bring peace.
