Modi did the right thing

Pak is going through a turbulent phase. People are repeating a tahrir square and trying to storm Nawaz sharif's residence. There is a high chance that the govt will topple. ISI is doing funny things in India.
So what is the point in holding talks with the envoy when the pak govt is unable to support him. Kick him out and let them send another envoy once things sort out in Islamabad.
Well done Mr PM....

Is the writer really an Ambassador?
by Dada on Aug 20, 2014 12:56 PM  | Hide replies

What kind of Ambassador this guy MK Bhadrakumar is? No wonder India's strategic thinking is in a mess most of the time...! He is clearly agreeing that Pakistan is fighting one battle already and it cannot fight a second battle, so in this case, what is he proposing us to do? He is proposing us to help Pakistan by keep talking so that they can finish their first battle successfully; what will Pakistan do after we help them finish off their first battle? Naturally, if history is anything to go by, Pakistan will turn towards India to restart their battle with us with renewed vigor…! I would have hoped that a person holding Ambassadorial position will have some sharp diplomatic thinking, and advise the Government that, if your enemy is engaged in one battle, and if you know that enemy cannot afford another battle, we should squeeze the enemy to get a better bargain..! No wonder our Nation is suffering as we make such guys Ambassador..!

Modi

Bravo to him for secular approach, all separatists are non secular and pro PAK, they must be banned, India must keep in true secular color as such any talk can take place at least within the people of India without giving anyone allowance of any religion. These separatists are to be pushed to POK, their division is already made-anyone who is playing none secular card must be banned and should not be allowed to disturb peace of our country.
With PAK, no issue except Kashmir-which is debateable and should be talked in between two countries.

Article 370
by hira sharma on Aug 20, 2014 12:09 PM  | Hide replies

Author's perception that abrogation of Article 370 is RSS driven, is misconceived. He should get survey done and invite the public opinion on the issue before making such poisonous staments to malign RSS and Modi Govt.

The people like Bhadrakumar will not go by public opinion. Since they already qualified IFS exams, if we have to anyway give them some job, they should be given some marginal jobs; He should not be made Ambassador as he has not strategic thinking…

first the hurriyat ush their way into to the door, now want a seat on the table when there is none. the previous congress govt gave them too much credit and created this monster. and when modi a nationalist wants to change the status qou its a problem. they actually should be objecting to meetings between the pak high commission and the separatists. but no its fashionable to be be anti national
