India Pak relations
by Rajagopalan on Aug 20, 2014 01:55 PM

The author of the article - did not specify what he want Modi to do. As an ambassador, what is his sugestion.. Pak will never allow India to remain in peace..They will do all likely things to destabilise india by supporting fringe grps like Geelani, yasin malik r the Muftis. pakistan itself under turmoil now and calling off the talks is good. This gentle man can go and negotiate peace with Pakistan ..

Any use of past talks? Did RSS agree when Nawaz came now not agreeing? If you hit the 4 legged animal in any part of its body, it will lift its leg only. The media also expopses its ignorance by mentioning RSS again and again. They cannot grow in stature.

Talk with Pak
by PK Sinha on Aug 20, 2014 01:50 PM

It was congress govt. which had allowed Kashmiri separatists to meet Pak envoys and dignitaries. These meetings hardly served any purpose in resolving disputes between India and Pak.These meeting were used by Pakis to brief the separatists on methods to spread hatred and animosity against India. Modi Govt. will do a service to country by disallowing meetings like these to be held between separatists and Pakis once for all.

Kashmir is not Hurriyat's Jagir
by S Kumar on Aug 20, 2014 01:50 PM  | Hide replies

Modi did the right thing by calling-off the talks. Is Bhadra kumar an Indian? I am doubtful. He seems to be from the Congress. Whole-heartedly blaming Modi & more so the RSS without any logic. Dear Bhadra Kumar, you should grow up. Indians have understood your tactics well by now. You cannot incite them.

India Pakistan talks
by Kompella Harinarayana on Aug 20, 2014 01:49 PM

It is quite unfair on the part of such senior bureaucrat like Mr. Bhadra Kumar expecting miracle foreign policy and impacts within a span of 3 months from the new Govt. If such seniors behave and express thoughtlessly, it only reflects on them in more than one way.

Writer is totally wrong
by Subramanian Palaniappan on Aug 20, 2014 01:48 PM

The Writer is totally wrong. Modi established himself as a great leader among SARC nations during his swearing-in ceremony. Now, When PAK Ambassador meets Huriyat, he passes a stern message by cancelling TALKS. Huriyat doesn't represent Kashmir, we have a govt elected by Kashmiri people. Better Rediff checks the Writer's credentials before publishing such junk article.
