Bhadrakumar starts from the premise that RSS dictates every decision of Modi Govt and not-so-deftly brings all his arguments to that end. He is best ignored.
Bhadrakumar exposes more his anti Modi and anti BJP mindset than his expertise from his days in the foreign affairs dept.He has built his argument devilishly well it needs to be conceded. But by bringing in the RSS-BJP connection as a possible cause of the sudden 'u' turn he has conceded unwittingly, I think, his anti RSS bias as well. With such coloured glass if Mr Bhadrakumar can not construct a better story that will be the surprise.GOI may not have particularly articulated its game plan for improving ties with the neighbours but to accuse that Modi does not have a road map is far fetched.
Well well Indian people are more aware of the Kashmir and Indian govt misdeeds. Its a shame such diplomats exist without knowing the reality and history.

Author's perception that abrogation of Article 370 is RSS driven, is misconceived. He should get survey done and invite the public opinion on the issue before making such poisonous staments to malign RSS and Modi Govt.
I am surprised that Bhadrakumar attributes abolition of Article 370 to RSS demands. This is matter of faith to BJP and former Jansangh. Whole Kashmir problem is festering because of this article. Nehru gave us bad hand but we need to counter this any which way that we can. We cannot go on blaming Nehru but do something here and now. Hence for the Author to criticse, unfairly is wrong. For this generation of diplomats who do not believe in Strong India, anything that Modi govt will do to change the situation in India's favour will be wrong.

I am not either an RSS member or an RSS acolyte but I also feel that the issues like abrogation of Article 370, Uniform Civil code are the steps in the right direction. We do not need RSS to teach us these. And by echoing such demands we do not become RSS sympathisers either. We are nationalists. We require uniform law for all citizens and all states.By claiming these we do not become communal either.

Sincerity of Pakistan is an immeasurable thought construct. The consideration on which the decision was taken implies no talks can be ever held in future.
It must be realized that the core issue is not more Kashmir, but the Sino-Pak axis. To deal with this matter of real consequence India needs a policy of active engagement which creates requisite pull factor for regional affinities to weigh over the axis.

Mr. Bhadrakumar hints Temple politics of safeguarding culture has overtaken Toilet politics of development. Both are surely necessary and healthy for Indian development as long as precedence order is consistent with what Modi Saheb has clearly enunciated.
India has two options to solve Kashmir Problem. (1) Take back the entire Kashmir from Pakistan's hand or (2) accept the line of control (LOC) as the international border. The first option is unlikely to happen. The second one is more practical and should be followed for a speedy and decisive solution of the Kashmir Problem once for all.
