These intellectuals findings are sometimes bullshit. So, as per them, suicidal tendency is with highly educated, highly motivated people. Wrong. Highly uneducated, overtly sensitive villagers commit suicide than well educated ,motivated urban folks. Let Planners not waste their time on the suicidal people, but, on loving to live people.

You have not understood completely the picture. This is focussing on the the educated people not measuring up to expectations and hence committing suicide.
This is a major problem all over the world.
Even highly uneducated, overtly sensitive people wanting to commit suicide is still wrong, and indicates need for corrective action and approach.
Treating such people as expendable and not worthy of one's time and effort, is exactly the egotistic, inhumane approach which is driving many to suicide in today's society.

Good one. Ppl like him will not appreciate the service of agencies like SNEHA till the problem bites his own people.
"people of south India have a tendency to internalise their feelings. When there is so much of anger and frustration inside, instead of directing it outside, you direct it inside."
that reason is more apt!
people talk less about their difficulties, problems and failures! success in career, marriage, busines etc. is adored but failure is condemned and treated with contempt in the southern states! that is also reason for depression and suicidal instinct!
if one talks to close friend or relative, and they respond synpathetically and understanding, the instict to commit suicide will be reduced!
it is the support system that has failed! every one is focussed about his own life, career or business and there is time for the others! it helps people to succeed but there is no empathy about others who are likely to fail or fail! even parents/brothers & sisters have less time to attend to their kith and kin!
