Ashis Nandy is not wrong. what he said is correct. Most of the states ruled by leaders who does not have basic qualification , just cheat the unducated people and reach political power their first job is to loot and then practice criminal activities in the name of caste. be This is applied by all leaders, nandy must be complemented for his bold comments.

Well said. The Act meant for some thing is being misused by certain section of the society. Do we need not look into the Act now?
listen to what he says on TV - he says he is glad that Koda made money and played the game, then he doesn't support Madhu Koda corruption. He says that WB has low corruption as backward class was not close to power and then he says that WB is the most backward state. Corruption is a great equalizer and he is glad that BC/SC/ST are doing it but he doesn't support corruption. He says corruption can not be removed all all, we should get used to it. .....etc..etc... There are more worst things being said by the people in power that is more important.
political tool to vote bank. we should have reservation in corruption is the demand of Nandy why should corruption be priority of upper caste. so amend the constitution to include the reservation in corruption is demand of nandy political party like cong has missed the chance but mayabati will definitely include in her manifesto 2014. Where we are r going socialists want to legalised corruption. those SC/ST/OBC who got education/degree/job on the basis of reservation want reservation in promotions.

it is natural for FCs when their share is divide and given to 90%of the population of this country be it is SC/ST/OBCs/women so they can call others like anything including low language. It is not our Indian culture that is disturbing

that's not possible in a SICKular state called India. Minorities can say anything against Majority; So called Backward class can say anything against so called forward class; but the reverse is not allowed.
I don't agree with Mr Nandy's statement that the Corruption is an equalizer. It never yields the desired results. Libya and Uganda are the best examples. It creates more problems - to the level of civil war. People lose hopes on democracy and bring in anarchy. Corruption (Moral/financial/social and political) never works for the oppressed classes irrespective of the caste and class of the perpetrators. OBCs and SC/STs are 'oppressed' because they are the victims of all types of corruptions. We cannot stand by my corrupt community leaders BECAUSE they are minting money at my sufferings. Once again, the concept of making corruption as tool for equalizer is a bizarre idea and detrimental to the development of a healthy and a just society. The example of WB politics is again confusing. The historical 'land reforms' by the former rulers have helped the OBCs and SC/STs to live a dignified life which created class based society against the caste based society in other states. Why we need OBC and SC/ST leaders when class leaders are working for us. Mr Nandy may be a great social thinker but some how got lost in the process of finding 'equalizer' for Indian society. Secondly, he must present data supporting his claims that the most corrupt people are from OBC and SC/ST communities. To buttress his 'equalizer' concept, he has done a great harm to the people of OBCs and SC/STs in spite of being sympathiser to them for last 45 years.
though nandy confided to group and is wrong but in real whoever gets a close to money for first time he gets corrupted easily.may this group falls in such type so he may have spoken that.
