Is usa right or wrong should not be judged by biased people
by brian crasto on Dec 17, 2013 03:26 PM  | Hide replies

Its seems nothing is clear in the matter. Indians in high position want to be treated like gods in india. But in USA its a different story. In fact it was an indian Behra who proceeded with the case. The IPS and IFS are making a huge hue and cry

media from other side
by Khaleej Ind on Dec 17, 2013 03:17 PM

In india the problem with media is that they only duplicate the news on every channel.Even the indian viewer ship needs only the news that makes them comfortable. We need viewers and the media that can show the other side of the story.keeping the viewers well informed not ill informed

Diplomatic immunity
by Vijayan Malliyoor on Dec 17, 2013 03:17 PM

What about the diplomatic immunity? The US is always behaving in a high handed manner. Their hegemony should not be tolerated any more. Our beloved Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was frisked once at the immigration by the US only to humiliate India even though they were aware of his identity! Dr. Kalam was magnanimious to lightly dismiss the same as nothing important! George Fernandes had a similar experience too! We should pay the US in the same coin to teach them a lesson!

Contract
by k prabu on Dec 17, 2013 03:14 PM

Puzzled - why there is no mention of what did the contract say between the employer and employee in this case. Is Sangeetha so uneducated that she:

- wasn't aware what she will be paid when she lands in US soil?

- CAN NOT work for any other employer within US (basically a restricted visa)

On the other hand investigation should also reveal whether Sangeetha was ill-treated during her short employment and that is the reason she reported it.

Whatever be the case an Indian diplomat should have been taken to the court rather than being strip searched or put behind bars or even hand-cuffed. Atleast for once our crooxed politicians unitedly engaged in teaching a lesson to US.

No. It is not!

It is secular like India!

That is why so many Indians can live there and not be forced to convert to your talking snake religion!

Such fundamentalist views and opinions create enemies and terrorists. And thats why US is facing such acts of terror. Be responsible when you talk. Humans are not born with religion written on their faces. Religion is only man made and is man perfect?
