Why curse country, when people are responsible for all these shameful Act. If anybody has problem with Country, please leave immediately. Or if it is related to people, you have all rights to protest.
Why do these kinds of horrors happen in developing societies more frequently than in economically developed societies, say Europe or the US?
Had the wealth of India, equally distributed, these poor people's standard of living would have improved and they will have something to lose; here many have nothing to lose. Broken families and to those survivors there is no difference between the so called 'normal life' and jail life if they commit a crime even as heinous as this.
People are watching; they get enraged at their own poverty and broken families and being abused by everyone, right from the cop who routinely locks them up and beats under the suspicion of a theft which probably they may not have committed at all.
They want to take a revenge; but dont know on whom? on a society, perhaps! but the real rich have protected themselves very well and beyond the reach as they don't travel in BEST buses, Suburban trains; don't walk on roads.
This leaves, the slightly better off than poor who are easy preys and targets; and they get gang raaped like this.
Had wealth been distributed well, crime rate will come down.
Look at Europe; many of their nations GDP or their growth rate is smaller than that of Bihar The reason is there are lesser rich people in those nations than those in India & less poor than in Ind. Hence, there is better law and order; a cop need not resort to bribe in these nations as they are well paid which is not the case in any state in India. Rich consume

While looking at europe as well, 75 percent of the rapes are done by minority community there which is same as in this case. Norway and sweeden are classic examples of this. So apart from unequal distribution, there is a criminal instinct in this minority community which needs to be tackled.

It is nothing to do with the community. If it so in Saudi Arabia and other Arabian cuntries, every minute there should be one rape.But it is the fearless of law, that makes any rapist to do the crime. In Arabian countries, they are punished within 3 months and no bail for this type of crime. In our mahaaaaan country, after do this type of crime, you are out on bail in the evening and the case will go to the next generation of the accused. In the meantime, he will find ways to covr up his further crimes and escape. Police will help him, if he is ready to feed him well.

There is a severe epidemic of rape in saudi arabia. The thing is noone reports it because victims are usually given punishment along with perperators. I had a college mate from saudi and he told me that even boys are raped in schools and colleges by their seniors.

And according to him, there were plenty of such cases in his school itself. So statistics also has to do with the definition of the word rape in each country. Its very narrow in saudi and very broad in western world.

It might have nothing to do with religion in secular countries like India , UK , turkey I agree. But religion plays a pivotal role in some countries like Afghanis,paki, where both perpetrator and victim is punished , sometimes rapevictim is punished more like stonetodeath
In w.b rapiest dhananjay get sentence but after that what happened to india. it's an schedule work for indian man to rape women. it's much better that man teach lesson to other man. It's much better change the man's attitude in Indian and other action is in vain. don't show any false simpathy.
