This news of "monopoly in amending Lokayukta bill in state of Gujarat" has fuelled doubts about Gujarat Govt anti corruption stand. Mr Modi have spoken a lot about anti corruption model in "India Today Conclave" but this action is never be considered in line to what he spoke in Delhi. Eventhough I am follower of Modi, but questions will also raise in follower's mind as well, as they are just common man and are really cautious about next Indian Govt selection. As we never want to repeat any similar regime in power like what UPA has offered to India. And we would like head of India for next five years should be a blend of Sardar Patel, Lal Bahadur Shashtri, Indira Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

the problem in gujarat is that congress is trying find anything on modi...for that it is ready to go to any extent such as bringing false charges during the election time...congress is full of dirty tricks...so i think modi has done right to do good for the country,by not allowing congress to be a hindrance in every stage...

If Mr Modi is clean than why is he worried about Congress, and why is he giving the other state govt an excuse to bring down credibility of "Lokayukta". If he said Gujarat is model state than that should also be model state in curbing corruption as well.
It is time to treat all Indian Citizen equally.In one State for BPL people some subsidy and in another State some other subsidy,and everything is cheap in Delhi.
All Governers are not elected representative-lokayukta to be appointed from the elected system-good idea and democratic principles stood at correct place
Congress used all the dirty tricks to trouble Modi through appointed Governor.Just as they are doing in Karnataka using Bharadwaj.Modi has brought out a fairly good Bill though it could have been even better.Congress has still to pass the LokPal Bill and people have not forgotten the midnight drama in Rayya Sabha aimed to scuttle the Bill.
The Congress should first set a good example before attacking others.The other parties have also learnt to play the Congress game now.It is not Modi's govt which has suffered due to Corruption and Scams unlike that of MMS. CWG,2G,Coalgate,Armsgate,Tetra trucks scam, etc,etc along with economic downturn are all due to Congress and not Modi.
it was a congress ploy to trap Modi in one or the other case...congress fallen for their own trap,like they do with CBI...in any case modi provides good governance therefore no issues even if he keeps lokayuktha..but congress does only looting ,so keeping CBI under government is unacceptable.
