Don't get confused with BPO and retail job. In BPO also what the Indian earn in India is only 35% compared to the earning they get if employed in USA or other countries. Those working in BPO, have proned to health hazards because of the timing of the work. In retail even in US certain states are against Retail Gaints opening in their states. Then how can we allow them in our states. Don't blame oppoisition for the false policy of the present government.

Only Mr. Ramdas Athavale of RPI can put an end to such protests save us from this nuisance. We need strong leaders like Mr. Ramdas Athavale as PM Of India for bright future. NDA should project Mr. Ramdas Athavale of RPI as PM Candidate. He will create history by becoming first Dalit Prime Minister of India.

Dear BJP, Do please explain how is it a curse. Firstly, it is to be allowed only in places where the polulation is over 1 million. Secondly, state governments have a choice to introduce them in their states or no. And lastly, this removes the middle man out of the game. Any farm product changes hand at least 4 times by the time it reaches you. No middle man means, higher price for the farmer & lower price for the consumer. On an average a kirana store owner employees 2 helpers and caters to 500 families (at least in the city). You do the math...why should be as consumers suffer...isn't our money harn earned. If the kiranawala is so scared of competion than he should find another business...anyways I assure you that his 2 unskilled helpers of the Kiranawala would rather be a salesman than a bonded labourer...and that's for sure!!!

Introdcution of foreigners in any country will never keep the integrity of that country stable. they are here to do business and will see how much they can profit, and not how much they can serve their customers, surely for few years they will give good service once all the smaller business are out then you will have not change to reestablish the old trusted kiranawala back to business and you will have to buy what they sell and at the price they sell
any ways people like you will spend anything for a GOOD quality product from mnc.
Remember even today what you get from your neigbourhood kiranawala are all the same all over the nation, that means they do not manufacture they only sell
now do you mean that indians do not have the power to invest in good product development.
our Honourable PM can instead of inviting outsiders can encourage INDIAN Companies to grow, but it will not do. it will give tax holiday to mncs but not indians. it will give lands to mncs but not to indian
these politicians will do any thing for big money and not for service to nation. atleast UPA has proved it that a foreigner can never thing good of our nation.

Neil Michael, This Multi brand retailers , when comes to market they have so big hand financially & political support that they will insist & force govt to introduce in small cities & towns too in short time, once they get in to system it will be hard to kick out them & then their monopoly will exploit both farmers & customers as they do not have any option to sell & buy products respectively except them. and all road side vendors/small shops will be close & unemployment will increase. Is this big store will give the job to road side vendor? It is big No. Think long run. Do not think that all people in the country have enough money to shop from this big shop. Is this big store will sell product for the need of day to day buyer in small quantity,answer is NO. Than what happen the small shopper will loot more to these extreme small customer because they only can give day to day product in small quantity. ( because small customers do not have enough money to buy big quantity from these shops & the amount of such small customer in the country is huge.Until these small customers do not have enough money to buy day to day needy stuff from big store it is not worthy. it is worthy for the people like us who are on internet ie higher middle class & govt employees.
