Nehru and people like ND Tiwari were part of Congress before independence. Now we know what ND Tiwari did as governer of AP. These Congressi were waiting like hawk after British rule to loot motherland!! We are reading daily in newspapers.
It is from the public who has been voting them, particularly the amadmi who beats drums, blow whistles on roads behind the candidate and put him in chair.. knowing his background..based on his cast/religion/language.. In democracy, yadha praja.. tadha Raja
You can't think to respect one politician of respect but because of politicians or public leaders we got independence. How about that? There are thousands of politicians and if u can't find one also then kindly take a break and work for only one year in politics to take experience. I am sure it will change your angle of looking. I am very much agree about the rampant use of power and corruption is now habbit of may be 90% politicians but still you will find some one who is not in limelight of media bcz of his honesty. not necessary all will agree with my view.
but worshipping and reverance - well there are two great leaders. Iron lady and Youth Icon. She should meet them before making such statement, generalising all in one single bracket.
there is no leader in the world better than iron lady.
I didn't have the privilege to see Late Lal Bahadur Shastri for not being that long in the tooth but heard a lot about him from my parents on how he was an epitome of simple, straight-shooting life. But, I hv very much witness ed how another luminary Vajpayee tried to change the face of impoverished india from rag to riches in little more than 6 years. I continue to hold the firm belief that the gravest mistake that the donkeys of this snake-bitten country did was ousting excellent NDA in 04. Had NDA helmed india's affairs for one more term, history w'd have been made. But, it appears, moke indias love to get tricked into voting Master of con -con-gress.

Your comment is 100% true.Congress and all pseudo-secularist parties have only plan to increase the number of poor so that they can sing the poor-poor song at the time of election and they proved to be masiah of poor.
she says all politicians are same she is right, but then she dont have the guts to say balthackeray. she says balsaheb. with all the respect to his age. such hyprocrats are all indian writters. its indian tragdy
