What a sweeping statement !! Just because she has been asked her opinion,does not justify that she makes such irresponsible comments! I can give a list of politicians who do command respect
One painter made a painting, and hung it on the city square for people to suggest improvements by marking with a pencil which was kept nearby. By the evening, the painting was black with pencil marks. Another day, he kept another painting there with colors and brush nearby; for people to make corrections. No one touched it for two days. Arvind is the only one who has taken up the challenge of correcting the system. Others are holding pencils, to mark areas of improvements. Yet , observations about Sitram and A Mar are correct. How KingFisher entered Raajy Sabhaa is also intriguing.
It loks like we have license to any what we want to write. more so after recent punishment for the cops. Even I don't think she is worthy of respect. Writer like her are born and dye every day.

She has to say something which has fires and crackers only then she can sell her books and earn for bread & butter. Not wrong, when others can go for road shoes and promos then why she not?
i AM AMAZED THAT SOMEONE HAS SO MUCH TIME TO COMMENT ON A VERY MEDIOCRE WORK OF A MODEL TURNED WRITER. HOW DOES IT MATTER TO ME IF SHOBA DE DOESN'T THINK NONE OF THE POLITICIANS DESERVE HER RESPECT. IT IS A VERY GENERALIZED STATEMENT. SHE WANTS TO PROMOTE HER BOOK CERTAINLY... BUT SHE SHOULD LOOK AT THE MIRROR HOW MANY RESPECT HER AS A WRITER OR A MODEL? THAT WOULD PUT HERR TO A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.
