That is a very unfair statement. Just because General V. K. Singh is honest upright, he cannot be called a Sanghi Mole. Why are you insulting the Congress like this? Are you saying that no Congress sympathizer will EVER speak out against corruption, like in the case of Tatra Trucks or the state of the army or other lacunae? Please be open minded, there are many good people in Congress also. There are no dearth of not so good people in BJP, don't forget.

After serving for 44 yrs, keeping quiet, letting the system push him to the top, raise the issue of his DOB which was his own fault/ creation, & was the army's wrong documentation which had nothing to do with Defence Ministry, wakes up three months prior to retirement to wage a war on the DOB issue, raise the corruption issue, picks up agonising moments with his boss. He doesn't even know how to get along with his boss. How he has become a general can be anybody's guess or system fault. The BJP will reward him for embarrassing Mr Antony. Why are all TV Channels & commentators not asking him indepth questions about what he did in 44 yrs, why he waited for 44 yrs? Corruption has not appeared in Feb 2012. Even after SC verdict he continues to harp on the issue. If he was morally strong he should not have withdrawn his petition & faced the verdict. He alleges arm twisting by previous chiefs. If he allowed himself to be arm twisted he is not fit to be General. These issues were being fought in proxy in the media by his friends & regimental unions. What state he has left the Indian Army? It is very low. He may smile in interviews on TV but are Indians, soldiers smiling? What if other officers make statements to media, they will be court martialled. Here he goes about trashing his own organisation while still in uniform. All issues raised could & should have been handled maturely. BJP owned channels are stoking fire. If any General behaves like this with BJP, the
I mean a honest general takes on the corrupt and he becomes tainted because of that? ajai shukla and his clan should stopped before they taint honest people.

another scam of an article indeed. there is nothing frosty. vksingh made it clear that he will not disturb line of taking over and had a great visit to eastern command recently with bikram. secondly, the court tried to arbitrate like a panchayat instead of taking a decision. vksingh said what can he do when the whole system is dirty. taint is on the court, MoD and Media. i wonder why such rabidly anti vk articles are appearing now. wheels within wheels at work.
i think the writer of the article is a looney or paid to write and humiliate honest people.it is better if rediff does not carry these articles.shameless guys you are that you cast aspersions on the general leaving out nincompoops like sonia,manmohan,lalloo,mulayam ,etc,

The guy Ajai Sukla who has written the article seems to be on congress payroll or crazy. Common the full parliament is tainted and he is writing for the honest officer as having tainted tenure

Being an ex armyman,Shukla should hang his head in shame by reading the response his article has generated.But rest assured that the paid journalists on TV will have him for a TV debate trying to tarnish the General's image as they did with Anna.I did not know that an ex armyman can be brought so easily!
