then it further deteriorated the principles of democratic governance as it has thrown to winds natural justice, equity, and good conscience, leading to exorbitant consumption levels eroding all savings and converting into deep debts of GDP which further caused a serious gaps between poor and rich... and others, promoted many to leave shores for jobs...and so called education out of india at exorbitant costs leading to unserviceable loans burdens and today every indian is loaded with loans to be serviced for nwext 15 to 20 years that is what our parliamentary democracy achieved in 60 years. further tax payer are over burdened by capital gains taxes as buying and selling flats at exorbitant prices surfaced just because the govt wanted every one shall have roof at unsustainable costs.. that bis the reason why whole world since followed similar type of consumption economics whole world is reeling under pressure of inflation to take of to stagflation

Kashyap is right.Art 105 is misused for all corrupt deals in parliament, like a robbers den/ scamster/smugglers den then they loot with authority that is the progress we recorded in several years /decades and more prominently from 1991 PVN pmship, thanks to VP Singh's treat progress of Mandal commissions and bankruptcy of govt that way pvn was forced to take IMF loan that upset the apple cart of economy, as PVN was hounded by very congress Kesari, sonia and others, then the following governments wanted to permanently open the economy, and Dr Singh is not a political economist but an export economist and he touted for opening up when the indian economy is not mature enough to sustain open economy but all other parties formed union governments went on gung ho which PVN would not have as he wanted pay off all tranches of IMF loan and slow the progress of opening up. But bad luck of indians is there and that way things continued as every party wanted to loot india right and left from power so too in states, the stable people made unstable and unstable people are further ignominiously unstabled, by a few class of workers could earn filthy rich remuneration that further increased prices of all items after all goods and services rebounded into uneconomical prices leading poor to fight for very life by resorting one meal a day, while politicians, rich, some middle classes got on well and 5th and 6th pay commissions increased wages of government employees resulting in wages not in..

How to raise India GDP growth to double digit irrespective of the fact that most of us criticize our politicians day and night?

A48: Telecom sector alone is contributing 1.5-2% raise in annual GDP growth. Many perennial bottlenecks namely electricity deficit, long pending cases in courts, poor index towards ease in doing business, complexity in our systems & procedures, infrastructure deficit etc are holding back around 1 to 1.5 % each in GDP growth rate. Their cumulative impact is of the order of 5 to 7 %. Adding this value to the existing GDP will make it growing double digit to minimum around 12 %. Our Government is in over drive mood to achieve it.

While others are busy in criticizing Government & UPA–II, we want to cross the point of inflection amidst mist of criticism to cross all hurdles. Just wait & see the amount of changes happening all around and will be happening at double the speed in next two decades.

Reality Check: Point of inflection has already reached and certain complex messy issues have circumvented the Government & UPA-II leaving with their leaders little energy and attention for other priority stuffs like the above narrated deficits.

examples

when I see examples of construction of buildings and management of business by indians ..I wonder why individuals and small groups can seem to do EXTREMELY WELL but the govts both central and local seem to be mediocre and even helpless at certain times

(in western country, the govt can match their private sector in almost every area , not in just ability but also in energy and urgency to complete tasks )

Very late discovery. This situation is present from 15th August 1947. Only that the degree of negligence for the nation has grown up from 10% to 100%.

india vs west
by Dev on May 13, 2012 08:24 AM

in india, the elected dont know how to use the peoples talent for improvement.
in west , this system of talent selection for work is very smooth.they all know the method.
probably 80-90% of westerners know the system of talent recognition and usage.

wheras in india maybe 10% know the method. (but 90% of indians know very well the method to make PERSONAL PROFIT out of public money)
