General VK Singh/Army needs to stage a coup & sort this political rot out once and for all before India decays further. Get rid of all the MPS and MLAs and post them along the border with the old 303 double barrel guns. The cartoon Laloo should be placed on Siachen with his white dhotiu and half vest.
Army should take over national security decisions; IIM/ India Inc handle Economy and Team Anna handle Lokpal.
We have faith in the ARMED FORCES than the POLITICAL GOONS.
This is the meaning of 'Democracy'. People elected corrupt & inefficient people to power & now they should be prepared for the consequences. These people are more busy in collecting money than acting on development in nation's security, although threats are clearly visible. Increased Defense's budget is actually an eye wash, as in fact relatively it has reduced looking to lowered rupee value & inflation etc.
If you observe, this govt is keen on importing weapons than encouraging development of indigenous systems, which will be cheaper, dependable in emergencies (since outside supplies can be stopped any time at will of that nation - as US has done in past). This because outside suppliers make these people's hands 'wet' to get the orders through. Our purchase & deveplopment procedures should be made simple & clatter free with LEAST INVOLVEMENT of bureaucrats & politicians, but should contain Ex-chiefs with clean past.
Now about leakage of the report - the 'Leaking point' must be found out, as it is unlikely that the chief himself must have done it.
The Ministry of Defence have a lot of answering to do. Saint Anthony believes that indecision is the best decision. Note that China attacked us fifty years ago is 1962. They might want to celebrate 50 years with another attack. The General is saying what people were saying in closed doors earlier. Remote Controller UPA wants a WEAK INDIA, economically and militarily.

Army Top General is the best man to assess the preparedness of his Army. What is wrong if he says our Army lack preparedness. We should take his words seriously. During Kargil War our Army prepardness was very badly exposed even though it was not a full scale war. I don't know what will happen during a Full Scale War. Our Men in Uniform are the Best and the Best Men need the best and latest equipments to fight. So if we close our eyes and pretend that there are no problems, it is not going to change the reality.
Sheela Bhatt seems to be a slave journalist of Congress party. The embarassments faced by the government are due to its own ineptitude, not because of Gen Singh. This govt is under control of Money and Italian mafia; looting the country with both hands. Unpreparedness of India has been brought to the notice of this government by all the Chiefs, and it is their bounden duty and right to do so. This country is not owned by the rascals in the government, and the corrupt politicians, aided and abetted by the IAS bureaucrats and corrupt police extablishment. This UPA government is mired in conspiracies against the people of India. It is behaving like a Czarist kingdom; and will face the same fate if it does the blunder of sacking the Chief of Army staff-one of the most upright officers of the army. The leak has been done by the Ministry of Defence not by the Army. The criminal acts of this government and Congress party will not be forgotten by the brave soldiers who have to die, without proper eqipment and armaments needed for defence of the country. A demoralised force is always responsible for mutiny-and that what this government is trying to do-to invite its own end and end of democracy, sooner or later.
No body is going to attack India based on the leaked letter, but a person who care for the security of the country should tell the public what government is actually doing for the security of the country. People of this country have every right to know the truth of their security. I don't see any logic being in Fool's paradise. Who so ever has exposed the this fact about Government approach to security has done a great service to the country at lest this time.
