That is an illusion. If state are allowed complete freedom then you will have things like Gujrat riots and the centre will be helpless. State is ruled by regional parties that are based on religion, caste and ethnicity. It is not all conclusive rule.
The first priority of any private company is to make profit. All the bribery is given by private companies only. They also treat lower level workers shabbily. State and private institutions cannot be trusted.
To press upon one's personal agenda in guise of personal freedom is not democratic. In contrary to accommodate the majority view is it. If majority does not agree with the price hike then it must go. If the financial condition of Railways can be made better without this hard say is possible then let the new minister try.

i agree. and unions who are opposing roll back must bring efficiency in their work rather than making public to pay for their inefficiancy
Is India a true democracy? Is the the common man heard? Can Ms. Mamta Bannerjee tell, when was the last time she bought a Rail ticket from her own pocket (purse)? When did she last purchase petrol/diesel or cooking gas from her own pocket (purse)? When was the last time she personally spent on house rent, domestic help, medicines or anything else the common man spends on daily? Has she paid income tax in the last 20 years?

For yr knowledge she is the poorest leader in the country,she is founder of TMC but still saty in one room!!Wearing plain sari & Khadim's chappal!! Dont poke yr nose on her !!!She is not pawar or Raj thakery !!! Why all centre leader gives her important becoz of her transparency!!

Her so-called transparency is ver much visible in her actions. Same lady who barks for everything during left regime, has handed over the Nayachar project to the same industrilist for so-called eco-friendly project without any govt. tender. The project amount runs in crores. She's the lady who stops all projects during left regime & now blame them for everything. Now she hardly talks about Singur after messing it up throughly & now court intervened for a long battle. She's the lady who finds conspiracy everywhere & announce verdicts about rapes even before police starts enquiry.
Transparency & imporatnce- my foot!!!! Indian politicians even ready to lick Kasav's feet also if he can ensure a chunk of votes in their favor. The only mistake Budhha did was he did allow this criminal lady to grow at the cost of WB future. These kind of blind, egotist, megalomaniacs should have been nipped in the bud itself, now she's a become a cursed virus, spreading too fast & spoiling everything.

To the quarry regarding paying tax, My friend we create a wrong notion by saying that only some are paying tax. Where as the reality is even a 100 rupees earner pays about 12 rupees as tax on essential commodities, even he has to pay on medicine which he uses on death bed.
Her name is Mamata but no Mamata is seen within her. she is an unsatisfied woman and whenever she talks, it appears that she is crying. If she cries of hike of Railfare then why she is not talking on the hike of service Tax and Excise duty by 2 %???? She is just pretending that she works for poor, in fact she works for sonia firangi. Mamata is sonia's paid agent.

Mamata is all set to put the Railways into utter jeopardy!during her regime she did nothing & is fearing that his party subordinate might do some remarkable as Dinesh Trivedi could understand the exact problem & was all set to do something exemplary which would overshadow this impulsive lady.Shame on Mamta! under the banner of Aam Admi she is holding the life of crore of commuters into ransom.
Road, train, airport, park, footpath, city planning all of these should be done by private and professionals. as long as govt has control our life will be dirt and chaose. we will live like animals in crowded and pathetic life. Its time to wake up. educated and mature people in each town and village hould unite. form group, association, friend circle and monitor the building and maintaining of these things. Also inspire people to spend regularly money and effort on such things. there is no short cut. lezy govt will never give world class facility. we hvae to join hands. think and act together. we cant keep blaming others and finding fualt and get pleasure out of such conversation. its to unitedly act. jai ho.

In fact, government should be KICKED OUT OF EVERY MINISTRY except the EXTERNAL AFFAIRS, DEFENCE, NATURAL RESOURCES and LAW!! Government is NOT NEEDED anywhere else. States and private institutions can handle it themselves.
