Show us one indgenous defense equipment which can actually deter or win over our enemy countries from Pak to China.They have been spending billions to foreign junk or down graded (by supplier countries for foreign markets) like MIGs,Sukois, refurbished nuke submarines jus to get kickbacks, instead of encouraging our scientists and technologists for indigeous development. These so called leaders dont have the guts to leverage eevn the billion dollar foreign buys with securing a UN seat or act against Paki and Chinese machinations against India. Kick these guys out in the next election. The real scale of corruption in defense deals would be revealed when a real war breaks out, not when these foreign toys are put on republic day floats for local entertainment.
It is unfortunate that we do not have a single minster who stand out on performance.A defense minster just for sourcing equipment from international market.Look at China how they produce the latest tank to aircraft.we need persons with a vision who can lead and make orginization like DRDO to perform.
Anthony is not the man to be blamed for anything that FMBT can not do . He must have been fed the information by the those guys who sit and do nothing in the offices . It has been a part time passtime for Indian Media to look for anything to blame without going into the actual reasons and situations. The media never could find why our Arjun Tank does give confidence to Indian Army. Why we buy from other brands. Then , at that time they will not blame the actual people who are resbonsible. They will look for a scape goat, that is Anthony. Well, no minister can be held responsible for the weapons manufactured from the designs of the many scientists who are working in concerned departments. We are yet to see a fighet light combat aircraft which was promised by our great scientists decades back. Why we are bad at making things. Why dont we have people like Kalashnikovs and the like. Dont we have the metal and the mettle ? Yes we have. There is something wrong somewhere. Instead of finding it, there is no use blaming ministers come and go. Anthony so far has been the honest man with honest behaviour.

you made the case that anthony is unable to make heads or tails out of the information fed to him, and merely carries forward information given to him. we call such person a postman, not a minister of defense. but then, that's also the congressi govt of nincompoops.

Why do you take the name of Kerala ? And why do you blame Krishna Menon ? Do you know how he worked. Without knowing head and tail of anything dont write things which are aganist regions and nation. It is aganist the basic principles .By saying 'another defence minister ' from kerlala you have just made yourself appear like some one who is bent on bringing discord in the nation.Mind it.States dont make ministers. It is their abilities that make it. People cut horrible jokes on sardarjis. Today we have greatest sardar on the earth that is MMS which our own sardars are blind to notice. MMS is the man who made things work. So states are not the ones that produce ministers. It is the people who notice them.
