Mr. Bidwai, luckily, there are not many people who think like you. Otherwise the country would remain poor. The event was a success because there were people who could afford and willing to spend. The bulk of the 2000 cr or so spent would have gone as income to thousands of people. In other words money has gone from the rich to the poor otherwise it would have gone into some Swiss bank account. That is how an economy should work, generate economy activity so that money goes around. The poor farmer who committed suicide, he died because he couldn't generate enough income from his small piece of land - if he had an opportunity to work on projects like these and be assured of a good income, he wouldn't have died.
'All sports essentially involve great exertion of the human body and mind, which aims for lofty heights of physical performance and endurance, with qualities such as deftness and grace of movement, intense concentration, judicious use of muscular power, as well as grit and determination' .... and the nut yet does not realise what it is to drive those cars for that 91 minutes ...
Maybe he paid some money to rediff to have this published.
Not sure, if F1 is good or bad or anything else. Buy do we need hear anything from a communist Remember Stalin, PolPot, Kim. Anything communist touches becomes bad. Any country, state, municipality, business. Because they are distributors of poverty. Only thing you will endup having is poverty. That is their history all over the world. Absolutely Proven history.
In July 2011, US authorities confirmed that Bidwai supported and attended many Pakistani ISI funded anti-India events in the US hosted by illegal Pakistani lobbyist Syed Ghulam Nabi Fai, who has since been arrested.

yes your are right. This guy does not want anything good to happen in India
I find it utterly naive if one says F1 is not sport. It tests the limits of human endurance. What with sitting close to 2 hours inside a hot chamber and being subject to insane amounts of G forces. FYI.. a driver roughly loses 4 kg of his body weight throughout the race by sweating alone. Also, if it was only for better technology and better machines triumphing, Fernando Alonso would not have been up in the podium
