If people are choosing corrupts and criminals on the basis of caste, creed, language, money etc., is it democracy? Soul of freedom fighters as well as of Ambedkar must be highly in panic, have we got independence to see all these jokers. Central Govt. as well as EC are apathetic to bring reforms to bar all these criminals and anti nationals to contest election.

So there you are Harmohan. What would you say about the rise in petrol prices during when Lefts were partners of UPA? Don't forget the petrol prices went up from Rs. 33.7 per lt in 2004 to Rs. 50 per lt in 2009 and during this time, your party was supporting UPA. The diesel prices during the same time went up from Rs. 21.7 per lt to Rs.34 per lt. (Source CPM hunger booklet 2009)

Joy Gupta, we all are in fact happy about the price rise of essential commodities; at least that will make some people understand that they cannot afford to have dozens of off-springs. Think of the brighter side!!!!
And of course Con-party has changed their Slogan from GaribiHatao to GaribKoHatao. At the present rate of inflation, not many "MangoMan" will be left in India in another couple of years.

Price rise is the result of unholy nexus between the politician and the traders. The producers or the farmers have never been the beneficiary. And Cong has always been one major reason for price rise. It is also evident that irrespective who their ally is, price rise and Cong were always together.
Between 2004 & 2009, the price rise of essential commodities were phenomenal. It has not improved much till now.

So, now WB, which has been the only safe haven for the middle class so far, will also fall prey to the price rise bandwagon. TM Congress and IN Congress are but 2 sides of the same coin...

WB is no more a safe haven as it used to be. It is also affected, albeit less than the rest of the country, by the price rise.
A national disaster cannot be kept away for long. It was to happen irrespective of who would have ruled WB.
The treasury of WB is empty and the outstanding loan is humongous. The revenue deficit is also huge as the State Govt babus forgot to work after 35 years of inertia.
All Looters and wretched dance in the name of Democracy and Election festival. Shameless and Blatant display of Lampoons of the Dirty Dens together. Masses know all and deal the best possible way to tacle such menace.
I welcome the Poribortan & I do believe the Green Bangla again become Number - 1. No more RED TERROR....NO HARMAD...GREEN PEACEFUL NUMBER ONE BENGAL WITH IMPORVED INFRESTRUCTURE, EDUCATION & JOB CREATION

the only way WB is going to improve is if the ppl staying there start productive work.

The UPA 2 has so long been looting and ravishing India, so we know what they are capable of!

We were made to look like fools because for after 1977, we only saw a free and fare poll in 2009 LS elections. And the result since that election is known to all of us.

actually, no. speculation is not meant for fools. speculation is done in every sphere of this world. just as you are speculating a great resurgence under "didi", i am speculating status quo.

I am not speculating great resurgence. I am only hoping better days but I am not certain.
I am only certain that this election marks the victory of the people of WB against the dark rule of commies. Commies, who don't think twice before ridiculing the great Netaji, who don't bother supporting our enemy China, who don't bother about the common people and kill them whenever they protest, had no right to rule anymore.
