Balanced analysis

1) Some influential folks in ISI were providing safe heaven to Osama, I do't think Mr. 10% new about it.
2) CIA cracked the location, decided not to tell Pakistsani establishments about this operation fearing information will leak out and Osama will be able to sneak out
3) Operation was well executed which only American forces are capable of executing
4) We can shout as much as we want, make fun as much as we want. US is not going to fight our war or solve our problems.
5) US is not going to go in to kill Dawood or LET leader.
6) India does not have the political will or military skill to execute any surgical operation like this.
7) We need our own spy satellites, trained commandos and political will to do this which is not happening in years to come, we like it or not, we are soft state and everyone knows that

Congress will never do what US did for the following reasons...
1) No military strength
2) No political clout
3) Does not want to offend the minorities
4) Does'nt value the life of its Citizens
5) Govt is always busy fighting opposition to protect its position

Congress-Today still believes in encashing the work done by many (most non-congress) during the struggle for freedom.
Gandhi is the surname they look for, though no relation to the Great MKD.

Puzzling pak story re-told in Vethal ki kahaniyaan!
by Muthu Karuppan on May 06, 2011 04:06 PM  | Hide replies

When king Vikram "shouldered" vethal and walked through buriyal yard. Vethal told King Vikram following story:

Pak is a lady born to a religious separatist and fanatic father [read Jinnah]. She got married to reglious fundamendalist Sunni husband at tender age [declared as islamic republic]. The husband's family was too large with many members[Alqueda, hizbol muj, etc., etc.,]. All of the husband's family members were employed by "Gore log" [US] at the time of marriage. All the family members "used" her to their will. Slowly, husband's family members started killing her own children viz., Massacre of shias, killing of Bhutto, etc., And her husband's employer [US] started showing some kind-heart to her. Slowly, she started developing love towards husband's employers [US]. AND, US started using her. Now, tussle started between legitimate husband and husbands' employer. Further, she doesn't know whom to support. In between she came across another neighboring guy called China and showered love interests.
The problem: She is now suffering from "cognitive dissonance" of supporting between 'legitimate husband', 'lover husband'and another lover. With whom should she go with? Mind is with Jihadees and body with Gorees [US]! What should she do???

Venthal after narranting story asked the king -"Now King tell me what she should do?? If you don't reply y

Question is too tough for King Vikram. Venthal / Vethal / Bethal, whatever, a ghost by any other name is equally haunting, should consult, Smt. Oprah Winfreyji, she will empathize and pull out from VenBethatal's own inner self /shelf, suitable answer to problem of husbands and lovers.

Cheers.

The lady knows that the said neighbour called India is impotent. When dawood made blasts they jumped up and down. now they know where dawood is. still they show many exercises. But there is no potentiality to make any move. after that there was 26/11. they know who did it. made many challanges. but no potency to carryout the job. Still keep on living under threat.

The concern is a reasonable section of Muslims in India are supporting this "Moraless and characterless" woman and "letting down" their mother.

Something is good in you. You may know who is letting down our mother. You may be right in your point. I may be in mine. This matter is related the world. One by one will be sorted out. These type of claimes prevailing for the past two decades. You are who is getting weaker and who is getting stronger. Me and you will face the truth soon.

Where's the question of elephant here? It is a quadrangular affair between 1 woman [Pak], her legitimate husband [Jihadis], illegetimate husband [US] and lover boy [china].

We all know it is a failed state or a state on the verge of failure with multiple authorities.

But look at the dilemma of the international community in declaring them as a terrorist state.

As per international law, all countries would have to sever ties with such a country. With so many terrorists holed up in that country, no country in the world can sever ties with them. On top of this, they are a nuclear weapons power.

This then is the dilemma of the international community, which cannot do anything despite knowing they are sponsors of terrorism.

Buddy there are 53 muslim countries in the world.

Islam has not failed nor will it fail. I am no religious person, but I have to be honest in acknowledging Islam missed the shift in the power architecture with the dawn of the technological era.

Till the dawn of the industrial era backed by technological prowess set in, Islam and Islamic countries did extremely well on all aspects of life including culture and commerce. They failed to comprehend the international power shift. They shall countinue to remain an extremely important pole of world politics but would have to concentrate on political evolution, education and technology. Failure on these three fronts has made them reliant on outsiders, who in turn have ensured change within those societies does not take place, which in turn has turned them against the western powers. It is a piquant situation but would have to be addressed not by outsiders but by the muslim world itself.

The very fact that the death of OBL did not lead to any significant level of uproar in muslim countries, itself is an indicator that those societies are now not willing to see OBL's receipes as a possible solution to their problems.

Pakistan has failed because of its big power aspirations despite being an impoverished developing country. Its search for big power status was and is a suicidal path.

Dear Imtiaz khan
I liked your informed analysis.
The greatness of indian society has been its acceptance and absorption of different faiths and beliefs into its fold but organised religions like ISLAM and Christianity(to a lesser extent)failed to allow the common cultural and societal identity for the populace.Hinduism by its very nature is inclusive and it is time that ISLAM instead of talking of 'La Ilaha Illalla,Mohammadulla Rasulalla'learns to co-exist with other beliefs and religions where practices are in private domain and the commong life of an indian is based on common law of the land applicable to all citizens.
Then only to my mind the scourge of terrorism which has defamed ISLAM will vanish.

Pak: Mercenary state
by Sharad Musalay on May 06, 2011 03:30 PM  | Hide replies

Pak is a rouge mercenary state living off doles. They thrive on terrorism. It won't be surprising if they use their nukes as a blackmail weapon to extract money from Yankees/Euros. China as its big brother will watch with glee these developments and India its neighbour with fear.

China has its own issues surfacing sooner than later with Pakistan. Heavy baggage is a treat for any sundry country whether it is China or for that matter India. Fear is now percolating only in Pakistan.
