I am sure that you will write a reply to this post, so here is my thought...

Please stop behaving like a petulant child and start acting like a mature adult. It is one thing to believe in something, but it is quite disturbing to try and shove it down everyone else's throat.

see, sujit, the difference between you and me is that i have refined taste. i have never called you a dog or any other animal. but, you have repeatedly used abusive language and continue to do so. but, what else can one expect from a ill-educated and uncouth person of TMC?
Btw, none of the "green" buildings of the world class cities are actually coloured green. they are environment friendly, and therefore called "green".

Goebbels theory has been perfectly followed by the Commies.Just think of Netai. Before Netai exposed the state sponsored terrorism, the continuous lies of these worthless commies made some people believe that actually there are no armed camps of CPM inside Jongolmohol. But when netai Happned, facst were exposed like daylight.

I don't see any action being taken by the Indian Railways to catch the criminals who are robbing and looting passengers. Why has Mamata not resigned from her post after having a record no. of accidents since taking charge of the portfolio?

What a coincidence !

There indeed are a number of leaders in the CPM and CPI who are really incorruptible. In Kerala, there are Achudanandan, M.A Baby, Thomas Isaac, Vaikom Viswan (CPM) & Chandrappan, P.Ravindran (CPI), etc. By comparison, the no. of leaders in other parties who have such strong credentials to laying claim to belong to the group of truly honest persons is extremely low or entirely absent in other parties !

Could it be...could it be the leftist idealogy itself that is causing many of its proponents to remain incorruptible ?

Never in the Indian History any state Govt have built up private army(state sponsored) which this Killer Govt in WB did in netai.Never in any state of India did the Govt kill innocent people with caders and armed goons of the ruling party. So whosoever is defending this Killer CPM Govt, first give atleast one example where the state Govt sponsored Private army has fired and killed innocent people which occured at netai.

Just because of Netai incident,CPM will loose heavily this time.

Its sad people of Bengal still undermines the work of the left still now. When the entire country is reeling with Price rise and corruption this is one of the few governments of India which is corrupt free and austerity to the core. But still People is going what they are being viewed through the lens of the Corporate news channels who is more interest in what Aishwarya Rai is wearing rather than what will happen to the price rise and corruption. And people who feels Left is a killer Government I would request them to speak to the people who is still alive during the tenure of 1970.

It's not without reason that the people of bengal want change. Bengal like other states is also reeling under price rise and regarding corruption please visit the state govt. offices you will get the feel of how deep rooted corruption is in bengal. When state govt. came into power (1970s), bengal was the most industrialised state in the country...but today there is hardly any manufacturing industries in the state - all bengal has is the sales offices of big companies. Please see the condition of the industries on both the sides the Ganges - most of them are closed. Have you all forgotten the militant trade unionism perpetuated by the CPM govt. How many of you will count Bengal to be in the forefront of either agriculture or industry in both the areas Bengal lags way behind. Friends visit the rural areas of Bengal - there you can see how much Bengal is underdeveloped.

The genocide of Sikhs perpetrated by the Congress? Was that not state sponsored terrorism? Why are the guilty never brought to book for that act? Why does the Congress continue to protect them? I distinctly remember the Congress leadership coming out and inciting people to kill sikhs at random. What did Pranab Mukherjee do to stop them?

IF TMC WINS WHAT IS IN STORE---AN EYE-OPENER
by Padmanabhan Kumar on May 05, 2011 10:44 AM  | Hide replies

NEW DELHI: Even as the Arunima incident has rattled the Railways, a series of other mishaps has posed a question mark over the safety of high-end trains, putting officials in a fix.

First, a Rajdhani Express caught fire and the engines of two other express trains were gutted. In all the three incidents, passengers had a miraculous escape.

On the heels of these mishaps, came the detection of three bombs aboard another Rajdhani Express.

Due to a mechanical problem, the wheels of a coach of the superfast Shatabdi Express got jammed.

In another train, the brakes failed. In addition, some derailments have been reported. The incidents, which occurred in quick succession, have shocked the passengers and the Railway Board, according to railway sources.

These have exposed not only the poor upkeep of trains but also the lax attitude of senior officials to maintenance and passenger safety.

If passengers escaped without much of injury in all these incidents it was because of the alert ground and running staff.

Two AC coaches and the pantry car of the Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani Express caught fire at Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh on April 18.

The following day, the engine of the Bolangir-Bhubaneswar Inter-city Express caught fire at Cheruppali in Orissa.

On April 24, the engine of the Rajendranagar-Lokmanya Tilak Express caught fire at Kalyan, Mumbai.

On April 20, the wheels of a coach of the Amritsar Swarna Shatabdi Express got jammed at Taraori in Karnal district of Haryana.

But the alert driver brought the superfast train to a halt without causing much distress to the passengers. The coach, however, had to be replaced.

Again on April 24, the driver of the Jaipur-Secunderabad Express was shocked to find the regular brakes non-functional, that too when the train was running on a gradient. He applied the emergency brakes and stopped the train in the Midghat section near Bhopal.

Earlier, on the night of April 11, Arunima Sinha alias Sonu, 23, was pushed out of the speeding Padmavati Express in Bareilly by three men, who tried to snatch her gold chain. The national-level volleyball player from Uttar Pradesh lost one of her lower limbs.

Railway authorities admit that the attempt to prevent the Railways from being projected as a loss-making organisation has come at the cost of meeting depreciation and taking safety measures. Funds have been curtailed over the past two years under UPA II. Lest the Railways go in the red during 2010-11, appropriation to the depreciation reserve fund was revised downwards by a whopping Rs. 1,900 crore to Rs. 5,700 crore from the budget estimate of Rs 7,600 crore.

With the finances unlikely to be comfortable even during this financial year (2011-12), the estimated appropriation to the depreciation fund has been pegged at just Rs. 7,000 crore, which is Rs. 600 crore less than the estimated expenditure during the previous year.

About railway safety, the less said the better. No money has been allocated during the past two years.

Allocation even under the capital development fund has been axed.

It was slashed down by Rs. 442 crore to Rs. 2,358 crore from the budget provision of Rs. 2,800 crore during 2010-11. It is no surprise that even for 2011-12 the provision is only Rs. 2,400 crore.

Highly placed government and planning officials are critical of the functioning of the Railways and said these fund reduction measures are perilous to the organisation and the lives of unsuspecting passengers.

Despite a suggestion by a parliamentary panel, the Railways failed to put in place a mechanism to oversee repairs and maintenance. This too is said to have had its impact.

Each and every state is a part of India. If any state is having any problem, it is the duty of central government to help them and bring them out of the cris. Now people are also divided state-wise, party-wise, language-wise, community-wise and boasting that our state is fine, our community is forward, our language is best. What nonsense all these things. It is better give total freedom to states and if want to join china, america, london, france, japan, allow to do so. Central government is also saying that they will give support only to the states which are being ruled by congress. It was the word of Manmohan singh one of his election campaign. All these talks/chats/debate are useless.
