Does not matter who wins, it seems amply clear that WB may not get a Govt Govt. If people think that TMC will be better, they may be in for a shock.

Till drastic reforms in politics as well as in governance are brought, none of the party should get majority, if they get majority they become dicatator, if they do not get, they share their earning with everyone.

CPI(M) must lose
by pulak taraphdar on May 04, 2011 10:37 AM  | Hide replies

We have already given our mandate. Others will do the same very soon in last phases of election. CPI(M) and left front must lose and they must be removed permanently from the political scenario. Left rule in Bengal has pushed Bengal lower down the economic scale when compared to other states. Women trafficking is highest in Bengal now. Left parties are good at shedding crocodile tears for poor. They are worst of the lot of politicians running and ruining the country. CPI (M) has become immensely rich in Bengal. Their whole timers who are supposed to earn a meager salary built palatial houses in Bengal. How could Late Jyoti Basu’s son Chandan Basu become multi millionaire? He was just an ordinary employee of Bengal lamp before left front came to power in 1977. Why was Tapasi Malik murdered? CPI(M) led land mafias have been terrorizing and killing people

Mr. Pulak,

From the statement of Mr. Biman Bose is ample proof that it is going to lose very badly. No leader will tell that his party will win, but with narrow margin. But one thing is clear, he is honest in agreeing his party's defeat, but Buddhadeb is a liar and he will never agree that.

The answer for your question why was Tapasi murdered is simple, that the CPIM goons have taken huge amount from Tatas to drive away the farmers from their lans and get the fertile lands of poor farmers on throw away prices and the young girl objected to it and was not in agreement to part with the land owned by her father. That was why the innocent girl was raped and brutally murdered by the CPIM goons.

Where did u get that info about Amartya Sen? Yes for Soumitra & Sunil Gangopadhyay I agree, but not for Amartya Sen. If u have followed Prof. Sen - he has praised some actions of the Left in Bengal like the land reforms (which is anyway praiseworthy by any rational individual), but he has never supported the Left front entirely like Soumitra & Sunil.

Come on Mohanan, Pulak

Don't be so cruel on us. After all because of us there is so much exodus of qualified bengais to outside waste bengal and even outside india.

Good bongs have realised their true potential because of us. we only converted educational institurtes into den of violent politics, we only converted industries sick because of our fellow comrades in CITU. Please don't forget our contributions to the history of WB.

contribution to bengal?? r you crazy?? wecould be in the top in all development related issue.. but only for this CPIM we r in ast in every cases. Only we are in the top in violence. Tey have wasted every thing. You are saying this because you are not dealing with any state govt related thing. If you go to police station for help, they will behave like that you r the criminal. CPIM should be ruled out from WB. For your kind information they win in undeveloped area mainly by threatening them. But in developed area in max seat they loose in each election.

Rediff should have
by Indian on May 04, 2011 10:33 AM

chosen Anil Basu instead of the ailing Bimanbabu. Anil Basu is the frontline leader who can talk flamboyantly about good things in life. Like women, money etc. Or even Gautam Deb could have been a better choice. He is charismatic, doesn't need a face pack his skin is so bright. He almost looks like a filmy hero in Dhuti-kurta.

These two should have been chosen as they have the ability to speak out nonstop nonsense and provide sparks to an otherwise bogus interview and topic.

I WOULD WELCOME ANYBODY, OTHER THAN TRINAMOOL CONGRESS. SHE IS A DESTRUCTIVE POLITICIAN AND WORST KIND OF ADMINISTRATOR. SHE LACKS THE ESSENTIAL COOL AND STABILITY OF MIND AND BEHAVIOUR, ALSO SHE NO GOOD VISION FOR THE STATE AND THE NATION. SHE IS A DEMOCRATIC EVIL AND NOT FIT FOR ANY KIND OF POST OF RESPONSIBILITY.

BUT BY A NARROW MARGIN!

Biman Bose's this statement itself is ample proof that he has already accepted the defeat of CPIM led front in the assembly elections in West Bengal. However, he is a honest politician and is not Buddhadeb, who is wedded to lie.
