I have lived in china and this statement sums it all up : As Deng once said, the system is the most decisive factor. The bad have nowhere to hide in a working system and the good may turn bad when in a rotten system.
They follow the system perfectly ,in India the system is so rotten that even good people have turned bad and rotten ,we people should work hard ,fight hard support anna and people like him who want to bring a change in the rotten system of India only then can we pass on a great India to our coming generations
I am a ordent anti-communist and I believe Indian communists live in what AdiShankara called ' illusion of dreamy world' when it comes to economic policies. Are they listening what their Chinese masters are saying? Another reason I applaud Chinese is that for them no person's idealism perpetually should be held sacred. If we criticise Maha-atma or Chuckling Chacha with a white cap, congresswalas hold you to be a traitor. We should go back to our roots. Shankara believed in a Hegelian way of dialectics and resulting systhesis is a way to find truth. We should be able to criticise any leader past or present, one holds holy or contempt. In this way an anticommunist like me is forced to admire Chinese

Read in some detail about where India actually stands in the matter of the living condition of more than 80 % of its population. there are any number of surveys and statistics available in the matter. Stop limiting your intake of information to what you hear from other ignormauses such as you.
And then you will know that what is commonly understood as 'development' by the stupid middle classes of India is actually a mere cover for ripping off larger and larger shares of the nation's resources and exchequer by a tiny section of the population !!
The CPIM must learn from this and should not beat the dead horse.It is very encouraging to read how the communism of Deng succeeded in transforming China, replacing the Mao's traditional theoretical communism.I hope the CPIM shall thoroughly reinvent itself and learn from its defeat by a party like Trinmool congress and leave their orthodoxy and make communism acceprabe to Indian ethos.

Madam will not leave so easily . She will not be welcome back in Italy(Western Europe) if she returns without completing her job.
She will attain the respect of her country only and only if she continues to do what she has been doing covertly till now.

The reason Maoists call themselves as such is because they use the guerilla tactics by Mao, which are definitely effective. In normal life Mao's public communes and cultural policing are all wrong. But even then China has made progress in many many aspects. Its ruthlessness can be questioned but average Chinese are enjoying a much higher quality of life than what we Indians do, and what started as a totally beggar country in 60s. And China is by no means a liberal country that openly espoused the liberal economic principles. What it shows is this- Whether you have a democratic, autocratic, communist or even an Islamic state, your country will flourish if the govt implements the correct economic policies. People who believe that only capitalist or communist economic policies are right are all fools. You have to understand the economics of your state and do what is needed at the right time. Implementing the right policies in your society will bring prosperity and social justice. Implementing wrong policies will harm the country and take it backwards. Instead of many failures Cuba still has a rather developed healthcare system - why, because they did the right things. Instead of many wrongdoings India has an enormous middle class which can make a difference and is the envy of the world. Therefore, form of govt matters not, Policies do and people do.
