What about our mission of 2020? Chinese have set their written goals for next 100 years. In India, intellectuals are not promoted. We do not have long term policy and therefore we have not made up our minds in putting ahead of others.
It has been known since a long time that Mao was wrong. Thank god Chinese realised it long ago and got to a route to Prosperity. But have we realised that our leaders are foolish and Corrupt? We keep pleading to same old people who have nothing concrete to show except scams after scams?As Mr Gupta said afterso many years there in no drinking water in hundreds of Villages, no Electricity, No education, No civil liberties as is shown by crime rates? When shall we learn?
Mao did nothing wrong he just laid the foundation for China for their tremendous economic growth. He released the people of China from the evil clutches of the Emperor.
The present success of China can be only attributed to the Good Governance of their Government.
Wish India had good leaders to Govern the country better. Until our leaders choose to be corrupt we can never achieve what China has achieved.

Why not name me one revolution where not a single person was killed.
The Russian Revolution, India's freedom Fight,Cuban Revolution, Iran's Islamic Revolution etc.
I think u live in another planet. For any revolution to be successful live have to be lost otherwise it is known as a military coup where no civilian lives are lost.

You are right.Rajaji was the sanest leader we had in pre independance days.It was he who first urged Nehru to drop the permit-licence-quota raj as he called.PC and Manmohan singh aped it from Rajaji's economic thoughts.Had Rajaji's ideas been followed,India would have prospered much earlier
..and nehru, indira and the present sonia...chinese are practical people..we need to learn frm them....many gullible indians vote for congress without realising the harm congis are doing to hinduism and india...
