Commies are traditionally nuts. It is more partycracy than democracy. Party first, before the country. Like Islam and Quran first before country, before humanity. That is the greatest drawback for communism. But what matters is leadership and their policies. If the Bengal commies had a visionary leader like Deng Xiaoping things would be radically different. And China is a much bigger and complex problem than Bengal alone. Following of age old socialist ideas , nothing new just the same, not adopting to new theories and worst of all not even implementing their own stated policies, all melt down to what Bengal is today. And commies usually are single minded and follow their agenda feverishly even if it is foul, Indian commies simply dont have any agenda.

Hmm interesting comment. Over the last century, socialism has been differen defined and practised and so has communism. The western democracies of Scandenavian countires are probably the best run countries with socialistic ideals!! Where as most of the communist and stated socialist countries like India are laggards at the best. Mao was no doubt a great man when you look at that period and what he was able to achieve. It's easier to look back on failure and critisize or rectify than setting out on an unchartered path which people like Mao did.
Communism is an utter failure and the world has proved it. Is there a single communist country where freedom and democracy exist. They suppress everything, religion, freedom, democracy, education, progress, development, etc. etc. Look at what happened in East European countries and Russia? And how they ruined West Bengal for the last 35 or so years rule. In Kerala they opposed everything; tractor, computer, JCB, telecom privatisation, self-financed educational institutions, road development, Cochin International airport, etc. etc. One of their local leaders even braved to challenge that if a plane land at CIAL, it would be through his body. When CIAL was inaugurated, the said MLA was not ashamed to be on board of directors. Their attitude is that first oppose everything and later grab it. When the prime minister of this country travel in Ambassador car, the LDF ministers and MLAs were/are using most modern vehicles who opposed its entry into the country with tooth and nail. What they need is a country where there IS NO RELIGION, FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, PROSPERITY, BASIC INFRASTRUCTURE LIKE ROADS, ELECTRICITY, DRINKING WATER, HOUSING, ETC. ETC. They are to perpetuate poverty and create anarchy everywhere.

country like india and china do not deserve democracy cause it becomes democrazy like india have right now.china has strict law because of communism where every one must go to school and must have work and must have home what is bad if this if a over populated country like india and china have this sort of system
