Indian abroad?
by prashant dcunha on Jun 26, 2011 09:28 AM  | Hide replies

I dont think she is an Indian as i am sure she must be having an American Passport....so why this award is conferred upon her? It should go to someone living abroad, but with Indian nationality...

Because as they say "Be a Roman in Rome". They(Haaley and Jindal) are loyal to their Karmbhumi, they are successful. And Success follows Success, so they get the awards and rewards, whether u like it or not. If u go to mumbai, be a mumbikar. If u go to Hyderabad bi a Hyderabadi--People will appreciate that.

i fully agree with you sir. quite positive line of thought, and hope this Mr.adnan sami prisiding LITTLE CHAMP can show enough broadmindedness to do Namaste ! (It is cultural respect ). He is a Pakistani living and making millions in India, is involved in wife beating and tax evasion etc...he moves around as a modern man, but does not have a positive mind set to be A Roman in Rome, an Indian in India. He may and can say adaab ( Arabic word ) and so he can say namaste with naaste style.

Same goes for SRK etc...we hindu people dont mind saying Adaab, khuda Hafiz....but they are so much narrow minded...while talking big of secularism !

This is a sick mentality.

well..they have taught Sushmita Sen and Vidya Balan, two useful idiots to say "Inshallah'..Adnan Sami is a cheeky moron, always correcting Urdu talafoos of kids from non Hindi speaking states..well, Bollywood is closer to Pakistan than Indians..the script language used is Islamic and Urdu..there are duas, and uparawalas never prarthanas or Ishwar/Bhagwan. Bollywood is the playing fields of the Paki mafia.

The name of the nespaper is "India Abroad" and is published in the U.S. So, that is the reason it is given to people here and not somewhere else. While Haley and jindal are American born citizens, they parents are Indians. As in India, Americans can be of any religion; it is up to their personal preferences. Wake up, you narrow minded and mean-spirited parochial people!

She is an evangelical fundamentalist. That is a pretty big deal for policy making. In one interview during the governor race, she said she would put "faith-based organizations" (euphemism for Church) in charge of universal pre-K learning for children. That is just one example of personal religion affecting policy.

And you would rather have a jihadi like Obama the anointed one who thinks he has the answer for everything while he runs the US economy into a ditch. I don't give a damn about Haley's politically convenient religious views while her economic policies are decidedly more enlightened than the Chicago thug in the White House

"Chicago thug"? "Jihadi"? Lionel, I quoted straight from Haley's opinion on education reform. What basis do you have to call Obama a jihadi or a thug? What does that word even mean to you?
It is not Obama running the US economy into the ditch. The recession started in Bush's time.
Which action of Obama is running the US economy into a ditch?

Ak Singha,

Jindal in Jay Leno's show was mocking his father's Indian attitude.
If a person can not respect his parents or forgets where he comes from, he does not get any respect in America.

Jindal has no respect in USA, so much for his butt kissing conservative fundamentalist. His rebuttal to Obama's address was a big flop. His handling of BP was another disaster.

Do not post based on emotion do some fact searching.
