You can not wish away the reputation andhrites have earned unfortunatly, in india, forget about whats in US. I remember good old days in banglore when a resume from andhra will be treated bogus untill the guy proves it right and there will be extreme petty questions on like which building, which floor you worked, which toilet you pissed, and so on, kind of very unusual.

I am an international student in the US and I know some students in this univeristy.I do agree that it is the ICE faults to have monitored the creditably of the university .However not everything in this the article is true .Student worked off campus jobs in gas stations , which is not allowed only those students have been detained by immigrations . Every student knows the law in US before they come but yet they take risk . Now most of these students are from Andra which is why TAANA is helping them so that they get can get out and then come back in market after they get transfered . Join some IT consultancy owned by one of TANNA member .
If you are in US and had to work with oursourced projects in India, You would have noticed following things,
1. Project manager, leader demand respect and if there is a director he would demand to be called Sir..apparently he earned it so he can demand..I purposely call him with his first name on every freaking conference call..
2. There is solution for everything, even it is none of your business, someone is eager to please and eventually screw it up. 3. 20 minutes means 2 days and few phone calls.. 4. Hire a bunch of guys and show some 10 heads to do the job, which was probably done by 5people team now they have a whole team dedicated to do, and yet the quality of work is so poor.
This has been my constant complains, I have this complains about few other countries to, though I found russian's are good at what they do, except communicating..I could care less.

ya... how about your state.. does it not have any fraud, see your politiacians history once and see what you are doing.. i think it is better you hang yourself and die rather stay and comment on others..

There are many Engineering colleges in south and there are not many jobs available.
What those engineers can do, no job at home, so some how they go to US/Australia/UK/..
It is easy to judge the people, but what can they do, they are forced to go to abroad .

IT IS A GENERAL TENDENCY WITH ANDHRA PEOPLE TO ENROLL IN ANY UNIVERSITY AND GET THE US VISA ANYHOW SO THAT THEY CAN GET HUGE DOWRY LATER AND ALSO ILLEGALLY WORK IN THE US. EDUCATION COMES SECONDARY TO THEM, WHAT MATTERS THE MOST IS TO EARN MONEY RIGHT FROM THE FIRST DAY IN US. TO ALL TELEGUS: DO NOT BRING DOWN THE NAME OF INDIA, ITS A SHAME. IF YOU CANT JOIN A GOOD, RECOGNIZED PUBLIC OR PRIVATE UNIVERSITY, DONT EVER THINK OF COMING TO THE US.
