AP Misionary Lobby
by HellFire on Feb 02, 2011 12:22 PM  | Hide replies

In Andhra, misionaries are very powerful and have lots of foreign money. They use it for conversions by giving freebies and tricking people. This TVU is a misionary funded institute and was in secret dealings with AP based people like Krista who trafficked people there illegally. Misionary cannot convert people in China and Islamic countries so now India is their big target. Last year thousands of crores have come into India throhg various bogus NGO for conversions. This is a national security risk. But our stupid politicos dont care about this or Bangladeshi illegals.

Dear Friend,
Your ignorant comments only indicate your foolishness !
Do you have any proofs for what you say here ??
TVU is a sham institute registered in CA as a religious entity purely to get the TAX EXEMPTION.The owner made lot of merry and bought expensive houses by "selling" I-20s! Let me tell you that not a single student among the 1555 is "brainwashed" by the religious discourse !! TVU was a hit among the Andhraites because (1)they could get the H4 converted to F1 visa NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED IN US,(2) No need of H1-B visa to work 40 hours a week, just get CPT from day one ! (3) extend stay in US (4)Avoid hassles of going to campus/classes, no not even for registration !

Having all said & done, there were many genuine students too he were seriously taking the classes, exams and aiming to finish off the degree at the earliest. When SEVIS had no problem, more & more students jumped on to TVU.

Neither Indian government nor AP Govt.,has no role to play whatsover in this whole scam.

BTW, do you know that just about only 100 students got their visas stamped with TVU F-1.Rest all were visa transfers here in US which the students did with all cognizance inspite of all the red flags.

Anyways, I hope you can come up with any substantial data next time you publish your wild comments !

Do any one in Andhra care to vote for BJP ?

They laugh at BJP and the issues raised by the party, thinking those are wierd and dont concern them.. instead they concentrate on more "important" things in their life - worshipping movie actors, stupid regional or caste politics (which is indicative of their medieval mentality).

ALl they want is money, money and mo money.

No sense of nationalism or
tendency to balance nationalism with development.

Now they've become a laughing stock in front of the entire world, not just the nation.

The human condition in AP cannot be improved with money, there must be a strong civilizing force that needs to be put in place. Frankly, this is true for the entire nation and not just AP.

What's wrong studying outside India. They have dreams and each and everybody has the right to fulfill their dreams.

If they work here they will get Thoudands. If they work abroad they get lakhs even if they do petty jobs.

Maybe the govt is corrupt. And i also don't care who is forming govt . Either it may be BJP,congress, Or any other party.

I m not at all bothered,If they nail the corrupt people and bring back the tax money stored in Other countries. Am i getting anything out of it.Nothing!!!!! Our work is over once we pay taxes properly, let them do whatever they want with that money.

Peace....

how poor and helpless biharis kicked lalu has been seen by every one.
entire nation needs that kicking guts in back of useless or impotent or currupt politicians or political party ruling in delhi or their respective states.

congress was voted out in 1999 and then voted back in 2004

5 years of BJP misery was enough for the people ... LOL

congress won more seats in 2009 than it did in 2004

BJP won 116 seats out of 542

Peaceful Ocean
Tri Valley Scam
by Peaceful Ocean on Feb 01, 2011 02:20 PM  | Hide replies

Have anyone checked out the average academic achievements of the 90% Indian students enrolled in this sham university? Were they even could have qualified to enter any mid/low level engg. institute in India? Is it not a fact that these poor students only had one idea, somehow to gain entry in US and a subsequent Green Card ? Can you honestly believe that these students were enrolled to have higher learning only, which is not available in India? Are you not to believe that they enrolled only to dodge US immigration laws? I think next best step by our MPs and FM etc. to demand from US, immigration right with proper reservations under Indian laws for Indian citizens with hawala USD in their possession. If US does not grant the same, we can always cry about discrimination on racial &/or ethnic profiling and threat US with World Court in Hague.

It was a racket going on for long
by Anti Fanatic on Feb 01, 2011 01:41 PM  | Hide replies

A lot of blogs and messageboards contained information about this sham Tri-valley university. Why did a single Indin student not complain to the authorities or the Indian embassy when they found out the truth about Tri-valley? The answer is clear-The students were involved in the scam too. They knew exactly what they were getting when they paid for admission to this institution. Why is the media trying to whip up support for these fraudster students?

Completely agree! These students are playing the victim game. The did not report against the university because it was the perfect situation for them. They did not have to enroll in full time classes, and so they could get busy working in gas stations and restaurants to ear illegally. Now they are only releasing half the information to media. None of them are talking about hwo they violated the law.

There are 4 parties to this.US fed Govt,VISA issuing authority,The university and the students.
All of them knew the truth but acted only now?
the victims are the students and the perpetrators/wrong doers are the other three?
The students are not innocent by any stretch of imagination? They have been lured into this?

by Sameer Bhagwat on Feb 01, 2011 08:49 AM

How can the rediff even try to give a spin to this story , in this day of internet when Indian students even discuss how much rice and pickles they have to take from India before coming to US , how can they not know of this scam.

Indian students are partners in this crime because they knew that this university was cheap , did not require any GRE TOEFL scores and also that it gave them the right to work at a petrol pump from day one, so this attempt to generate sympathy by the media for them is not going to work.

There are 3 communities (major); people from Indi......a (all relig..ns included), Muzi....s from any nations and Sik....hs who will do anything and everything to get out of In..a but most of them will continue to hold the same attitude, behavior etc in their adopted countries.

No wonder Ind.....ia continue to be in the condition it is today.

Dont blame politicians, they represent the overall culture of the society.

Over religious
Corrupted
Vehicles are installed with a line of God statues
Copy right is right to copy
.
.
The list is endless
I don’t understand y these people who belong to one of the above communities want to maintain the same culture in a foreign land when the same things failed their countries.

At least a few counties are left that the other countries can benchmark but these communities will contaminate the whole world by migrating to any countries that include Sri Lanka, Thailand etc not to mention the developed countries. The whole world will look like Mumbai in not so distant future.
