Explosion of supernova Betelgeuse
by Vishvaksenah E on Jan 22, 2011 04:22 PM

CID Diggi heard the news about the explosion of supernova Betelgeuse .
He assumed it must be some kind of bomb explosion.

Immediately he gave a press statement that Betelgeuse had sent him a sms fearing attack from the saffron terrorists.

CID Diggi claimed that Betelgeuse was his close friend.
CID Diggi is sad that he could not be of much use to help his friend Betelgeuse while he-Betelgeuse - was in distress.

CID Diggi tried his best to save Betelgeuse from the explosion, but alas, the saffron terrorists got their way.

CID Diggi strongly condemns this horrendous explosion committed by the saffron terrorists by which the secular Betelgeuse is no more with us.

Long live secularism !

640 light years away

If the star is 640 light years away, the light from the star will reach earth 640 years later (if the light starts now). So either the star has exploded 640 years back or we will see the phenomemon 640 yrs after.

True...if we are going to see it now, it has already exploded 640 years ago..but there is absolutely no way we can know, because light is the fastest thing, and even then the star is 640 light years away....so it might have already exploded 640 years back, for us to see now...

Good one. 2012 hype and confusion instilled into people has some reason. May be, NASA and Pentagon are doing some experiments other than LHC in europe.

If it happens now, wait for another 640 light years to see light coming from that.

Why not we should send some Indian Delegates ( Include some Ministers , got ofiicials , Judges , etc etc ) to NASA to study this incidence , and get a full fledge report on who is behind this explosion ? LET ? Or USA Or Saffron Terrorists ?
Our Govt now must spend tax payers to money to study this.

End of life ?
by Raju on Jan 22, 2011 04:07 PM

So the Mayans were right after all. All the stuck up scientists out rightly dismissed their prediction but now they dont even know an event of this magnitude will happen a few years before its occurrence. As the scientists claim, when this event happens, the night will become day.
So obviously this is going to have repercussions to animal and plant life and to human beings too.

Hey, its interesting that the star is 640 light years away. That means the star has already exploded 640 years ago if we are to see its fireworks this year. So its very stale News:)
